    If they are building roads level they need to be fired. There is suppose to be a slight angle to provide for drainage.

    Had no problems with smudges and working with gloves is not a problem, it using pressure not an electrical current. I have had problems with the page moving because I brush my shirt sleeve across the area.

    In US Dollars the metal is worth: The gold medal is only worth around $650.
    Silver around $310
    Bronze under $5

    There are some older ones available ever so often on ebay they don't get that much unless releated to something very special.

    Yea but this is slashdot so it is not stealing it is piracy and the "victims" have not lost anything. The copiers have not done anything wrong by taking these bits and distributing it how the "owners" did not originally agree to.

    After all if the owners had made the product available in a format and manner the would be buyers had wanted it they would not had to resort to this method to get the info.

    I could case less about skydrive and all other always must be connected outside my house options. Try disconnecting the internet and see if how your attidute will change.
    the bringing forward of some of the setting will make it nicer for some people, however for a business environment alot of those will be locked down or disabled; and once set how often do they really change. Windows 7 as easy or easier access to the customizations that people make changes with.
    Also Metro is not the start menu because with the start menu I could organize items and bring some unity and order to all the programs installed. With Metro I don't have that; some programs get large icons, I can move stuff I use together but what about all the icon that would normally be in the place with the main icon but in a subfolder hidden form normal use but easly associated when I need them.

    Sometimes after seeing all the new stuff and experiences you want something familar and comfortable and McDonalds fits that role.
    They also are clean, have good bathrooms (exception for the McDonalds in Reims) and are open long hours. They also offer wifi and have seats. And the Partially Gelatinated, Non- Dairy, Gum-Based Beverages can taste rather good on a hot day.

    Surprise someone has not mentioned MS Smartglass since it designed to give a second screen to games.
    Granted it more show now than relality but it does point the way that multiple display can be used in games.

    I would say my usage is about the same, I used search because it was faster to bring things up that I used commonly but not enough to pin.
    However the windows 8 search process is alot slower then it is to do with the search button. I looks prettier but that is all.

    As an American living and working in Germany for over a decade you really need to watch how you are getting over here.
    Cost is alot more than living in the USA, and normal german pay can be lower. Then you are stuck with taxes, as a USA citizen you have to file for taxes no matter where you earned them, and Germany now wants a cut. However tax deals between the countries can help you alot in that matter and some companies pay the USA taxes that you would owe.
    You will want to travel, after all that is why you are coming to Europe, so factor in the costs of that. Also expect a smaller house, car and most other things.

    Please do yourself a favor and educate yourself on the Patriot Act, what it allows, and what was allowed before it.
    All data is not allowed access by request, unless you mean a request signed by a judge, which you don't since you pointed the patriot act. The part that has people upset is not adding terrorism to a list of items were this actition was allowed, pre Patriot act, but that the Patriot Act automaticly makes it a crime to call up the person being investigated and offer to sell or give them info that they are being investigated.

    No Netflix has said we have around 40% of our stream media with CC and are working to have that up to over 80% by the end of the year. The problem is getting the licenses for the CC for internet broadcast.

    Once you have worked in that area you learn the main reason they don't go and start their own restaurant is they have no desire to.
    It is hard to move people up in the fast food restaurant job market because they don't want the extra responsibilities. In your example if that burger flipper wanted to be a shift manager they probably had closer to a 100% chance because there is no one that really wants it.

    It is not covered by copyright and patent it is covered contract law or because the manufacturer does not want to deal with providing seperate hardware.
    Part of the reason MS did go this route was to combat piracy but that is different from saying is the law imposing it.

    That info is really outdated. Recent studies over larger scale and more produce show that on the average conventional produce around 34% more, the best it from organic is strawberries with organic being under conventional by 3%.
