The fact that no current or announced cell phones have this "magnetic induction technology", probably means that we're a few years away from mass adoption. Few people want to attach a wired adapter to their phone in order to use a wireless headset. Bluetooth still rules the land of wireless headsets! Long live Bluetooth!
Apple started using standard IDE drives several years back. There are no longer any compatibility issues - you can pop in your Windows drive and the Mac will be able to read the partitions.
Unless, of course, nobody's listening. I'm sure when they play back the recording three weeks later they'll rush to the scene of the accident to aid the sorry sap that's paying $9.95/month for the service.
Your statement: Actually, "secret sauce" was introduced by the interviewer, not the interviewee IS FALSE because the interviewer never used the term "secret sauce". Period.
The question asked was, "What's the special sauce?"
it's not against the law to forgo basic car maintenance
Actually, if you totally forgo basic car maintenance, you probably won't pass your state-mandated inspection. Therefore one could argue that the law requires you to maintain your car.
I think the gun and car analogies are a bit too much here.
They're also bad analogies because you need license for guns and cars. Perhaps if we started licensing computer ownership, we might be able to regulate the behavior of computer users.

I was low on space on one of my Win2k machines and I decided to install some software on a network drive. Sadly, this particular piece of software (I forgot what exactly) wasn't smart enough to require a local install.
I totally hosed the system. I finally concluded that some drivers (now located on that network drive) were needed prior to Windows establishing the network connection, so Windows just stopped booting. I tried everything I could think of, but in the end I had to reinstall Windows and start from scratch.
That's why you want to install as much as you can locally - so that your machine is still usable if your network connection goes down.
You had an excellent argument right up the point where you said "synchronize their shutters" - which is impossible with this particular camera, at least for now. Since no one's bothered writing the code to do that with any other cheapo camera, it's likely to remain that way.
So how do you protect yourself from a DDOS attack? Are there any closed-source or open-source products that can do it? I've seen "network appliances" that claim to protect you, but I haven't read any reviews.
Nokia wants to sell phones, not software, hence it's in their best interest to provide free development tools. Thanks to this enlightened policy, there's a TON of software out there for Nokia phones.
Then why the fuck are we still giving BILLIONS to dictators in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, and plenty of other countries? Why are WE training their death squads? If George & Co. really gave a damn about "freedom" and getting rid of murderous tryants, wouldn't simply cutting the flow of foreign aid be a lot easier than starting a war????
But you're obviously too fucking stupid to see beyond the 30 second sound bites put out by the White House.
I look forward to this, even though I'm not a student at Penn State. It will give thousands of bright minds the opportunity to explore, perhaps crack, and perhaps exploit the technology behind Napster 2.
Is this before or after the men in white coats take them away?
Dude - get married. Of if you're married, find yourself a mistress.

Damn it, where's my HDTV support?????

"secret sauce" != "special sauce"
Are these available in the U.S.? The last time encrypted cell phones made the news there were no plans of selling them in the U.S.
Their Adaptive Enterprise technology is certainly impressive.
Actually "special sauce" was introduced by the interviewer - the VP used Adaptive Enterprise technology to transforms it into "secret sauce".
Actually, they're probably illegal in many more towns, I just haven't driven through them to see the signs on the side of the road.

You'll have GSM access throughout Italy, and I'm sure the local mobile phone carrier provides GPRS (high-speed data).
Then just send your pics to a picture blogging service via MMS, most of which also have text blogs you can update from your phone:

Siemens SX1 plays:
Sonic
Tomb Raider
Puyo Pop
Pandemonium
Tony Hawk
Nokia 6600 plays:
Pandemonium
Puyo Pop
Sonic
Tomb Raider
Tony Hawk
(Puzzle Bubble fails)
Nokia 3650 plays:
Sonic
Puyo Pop
(everything else fails due to insufficient RAM)
Umm... so are you suggesting that the screenshots of the SX1 playing the cracked game is a fake? That certainly looks like "anything else" to me.

What about the constant rain of small meteors? Lacking an atmosphere, you're losing all your protection.
Also look at this hilarious picture.
Man that was funny, I especially loved the sweat stains. Anybody got a video of the REAL Microsoft event where Ballmer acted like a drunk frat boy?
