    Chattel is the term I was using for 'Personal Property' back when I was selling Real Estate (years ago).
    By the way, 'Light Bulb" "Light Fixture".
    Many fixtures are portable and would be considered chattel.
    That fixture the is built in to the ceiling, sure, part of the property.
    Removing bulbs was not treated as a violation but was/is clearly tacky.

    Pulling a straw man question out of their collective arse helps hide how bad a decision this is. Anyone see anything about large data centers being built in EASTERN Washington because of the very CHEAP electricity, lower property costs, and lower wages? I'm just amazed they aren't proposing this as another lid over I-5 further traumatizing traffic flow.

    They have your private stuff.
    They have all of your private stuff.
    Does Micro$oft care?
    Will any corporation keep your stuff local?
    A state employee does not get the corporate anonymity or lawyers of 'the cloud'.
    The state data center won't suddenly be moved to Elbonia to save money.

    Many who suggest that western nations are not the primary cause of climate change are described as if they deny there is any climate change. Thay is unfair and inaccurate, and often what happens when Bjørn Lomborg is mentioned. You may want to look at the call by (un)Scientific American magazine for articles that "debunked" Bjørn Lomborg conclusions in his book "The Skeptical Environmentalist". If they were interested in science the call would have been for articles about the research involved, for or against.

    Don't know about the state you live in but here in Washington state licenses are for the purpose of generating revenue. To the government, tax is crack. Figure it out! In the face of huge unemployment and, fleeing business, and complete failure for the last 20 years with almost every social(ist) program my state govenrment wants more social(ist) funding while raising taxes on the common working and unemployed stiff and has chosen to ignore the will of the voters to increase teachers pay. Seems there is only enough to pay for increases for Gary Lock (Emperor/Governer) and his henchmen eg: Patty (Afgan women don't need no schoolin') Murray (pro terrorist, traitor) and Jim (I Like Saddam) McDermott (pro terrorist, anti-america, traitor).
