Expert Tactician [General]
You are skilled and turning things to your advantage.
Prerequisites: Combat Reflexes, Base attack bonus +2, Dex 13+
Benefit: You may make an extra melee attack a round, against one foe that is within range, and denied Dexterity bonus against you. This attack occurs before or after your regular attacks.
Special: Only one such attack may be made a round unless you have the Combat Reflexes feat. Attacks used with Combat Reflexes count against the total number of Attacks of Opportunity you may make in that round.

The group I play with ranges from 24 to 46...and the two people over 40 are perfectly normal individuals who are married and have kids (if that's how you define normal for people of that age).
I think you'll be pleasently surprised if you go and find a group.
Hands down if you're looking to have fun with the roleplaying of CoC versus the loot-hoarding, min-maxing aspects of D&D (or most D20 games for that matter).
I just picked up an IBM Thinkpad X30, 3.5lbs and loving it. Once you've switched from hauling around an 8 pounder to something half its weight you have a hard time going back...
Forget about the $600 toilet seat...we're talking about the multi-million dollar petting zoo for guys!

Going to church every sunday isn't necessarily just to hear a sermon, a little choir, read a few passages from the Bible...no, a big part rests around the face time with other attendees. It is like a family reunion...in a chat room. You might all be there, but you can't express emotion or body language that gives depth to any sort of relationship.
Plus, one huge aspect of going to church and hearing millenia old gospel certainly implies that you are not looking to get tips and tricks on the latest gadgets, linux distros, etc.
For the segment of the population that can not scuba dive due to various health ailments relating to the ears, such a vehicle could really open 'diving'. I myself spent a little over four months trying to complete SCUBA training, only having to contend with ear infections after every single lesson.
Yay for inventions!
What I enjoy the most about MUD's (or at least the mud I participate in) is the strong connection between the developers and the players. I'm fairly stingey with my money but I know I'd give as much as I could financially do so if my MUD needed additional funding for bandwidth/hardware. With 150+ players on at any given time in a 30,000+ room Mud there is plenty to explore and quite a few guild dynamics to keep things spiced up.

Five years ago when I decided on the spur of a moment to join one of the two Team PvP servers in Everquest, I never thought I'd spend the next 3 years there. As I became more involved and the game continued to evolve with new expansions, being on a PvP server became increasingly difficult to just have fun on.
I posted on those damn forums every single moment I could, I worked up relationships with the GM's, I e-mailed Abashi more than I'd care to admit. And for what? In the end they chose to simply remove the looting aspect from Team PvP servers so people wouldn't feel so bad when they were zone ganked because someone had more memory than someone else.

I mean heck, who would use G5's for anything but looking nice... http://www.apple.com/hardware/video/virginiatech/v irginiatech_480.html
Surely some company/educational instititution will snap these up like pancakes....
Thanks, now I understand *all* of the pr0n jokes on Slashdot.

Great piece with Patrick Stewart defending his role in a Science Fiction TV show for 7 years as a way to encourage others to go out and watch Shakespeare. Real Media and Windows Media Player versions.

Last I heard the preliminary WUSB standard was quite lacking in terms of security. Steal your co-workers entire Mp3 collection in only 15 minutes!
Didn't someone say the same thing about Microsoft the other day?

Well we've invested in the laser technology haven't we? And those things were designed to cook nuclear missiles...
And who exactly wears the pants in this family?
Remember the late 80's when we all figured the Japanese would own most of the West Coast too?
The history and composition of pennies!
I'm thinking Microsoft will have spent 2+ years developing this only to have it cracked in under 6 months...

I guess those $600 toilet seats *aren't* being used for Website development...

Slashdot isn't posting the article that the WoW Beta signups started tonight in fear that it will further drag the servers down ;)
Good or bad? That's like questioning if Twinkies are good or evil?
