  1. Details on Expert Tactician Feat on D&D Is 30 · · Score: 1

    Expert Tactician [General]
You are skilled and turning things to your advantage.
Prerequisites: Combat Reflexes, Base attack bonus +2, Dex 13+
Benefit: You may make an extra melee attack a round, against one foe that is within range, and denied Dexterity bonus against you. This attack occurs before or after your regular attacks. Special: Only one such attack may be made a round unless you have the Combat Reflexes feat. Attacks used with Combat Reflexes count against the total number of Attacks of Opportunity you may make in that round.

The group I play with ranges from 24 to 46...and the two people over 40 are perfectly normal individuals who are married and have kids (if that's how you define normal for people of that age). I think you'll be pleasently surprised if you go and find a group.

Going to church every sunday isn't necessarily just to hear a sermon, a little choir, read a few passages from the Bible...no, a big part rests around the face time with other attendees. It is like a family reunion...in a chat room. You might all be there, but you can't express emotion or body language that gives depth to any sort of relationship. Plus, one huge aspect of going to church and hearing millenia old gospel certainly implies that you are not looking to get tips and tricks on the latest gadgets, linux distros, etc.

What I enjoy the most about MUD's (or at least the mud I participate in) is the strong connection between the developers and the players. I'm fairly stingey with my money but I know I'd give as much as I could financially do so if my MUD needed additional funding for bandwidth/hardware. With 150+ players on at any given time in a 30,000+ room Mud there is plenty to explore and quite a few guild dynamics to keep things spiced up.

Five years ago when I decided on the spur of a moment to join one of the two Team PvP servers in Everquest, I never thought I'd spend the next 3 years there. As I became more involved and the game continued to evolve with new expansions, being on a PvP server became increasingly difficult to just have fun on. I posted on those damn forums every single moment I could, I worked up relationships with the GM's, I e-mailed Abashi more than I'd care to admit. And for what? In the end they chose to simply remove the looting aspect from Team PvP servers so people wouldn't feel so bad when they were zone ganked because someone had more memory than someone else.
