True, traditional engineering education is a lot of books; it is experience as well. How many times have you wrapped your head around a homework problem until something clicked. I get enough hands-on trench warfare at work. I prefer the book-heavy approach I get from University because it provides me with the background and tools to truly understand the problems I encounter day to day without the mission critical stress, deadlines, and problems

I haven't bought a commercially produced CD in years. The only CD's I have are local bands paying for gas. I do like some commercially produced music, but I can just listen to it on the radio or pandora.

Exactly! I am a member of the NRA and I never carry a gun, and I don't even tell people they should own one. I see the mislabeling of NRA members for purely political purposes as a tragedy. Guns are important, but not as important as the safety and training required of responsibly owning them.
American's don't have high penetration of broadband because: 1.) We are more spread out than other countries 2.) Our internet is a complex series of tubes
