Why still use the name Napster? It may have worked around 2003 by confusing people thinking it was the same old service but now legal, but this isn't 2003 anymore.
Everytime a new PS3 firmware comes out, with "security updates" you are almost forced to install it or you lose PSN, plus other features, but they don't care about updating and securing their servers?
IMO before jumping to conclusions, we should wait to see what happens in the next firmware updates or announcements, since the settlement terms are confidential, Geohot might have won something and Sony doesn't want it public.
Yes, it is a little late, but look at Sony's past consoles, sure they were on the lead back then, but the thing is, years after their competitor's consoles were dead, Sony's consoles still were selling strong.
I've always told my friends once the PS3 price would be on par with the 360, it would sell more, why would that be? Because the PS3 is a better console hardware-wise and can play Blu-Ray discs. On games, think about it, most third party games are made for both consoles, the differences are mostly Halo and GoW for the 360 and Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Infamous and others for the PS3. So it is a matter of taste. We'll seethis holiday season wich console sells more.
In my opinion this eliminates any kind of challenge, if you are stuck, you let the game play itself and that's it, no worries. I remember when I was a kid playing Super Mario Bros on NES, I liked it because it was a challenge, it was difficult and when I was stuck it kept me trying to play more and more to get out of that part instead of letting the game play itself and be bored.
I have been playing Fallout for more than 60 hours(PS3), and I haven't finished the game yet because of all the sidequests, back when they announced the DLC, when they said that they weren't coming to the PS3, I kind of lost my interest in the game, but now that they are going to release them for the PS3, I'll continue playing the game.
buy them? I mean, Square-Enix buying their idea/game and releasing it as what it is, a game made from fans, sell it at a low price, but we all now this won't happen.
At the computer store where I work, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, we see computers infected with these rogue applications, I have succefsully easily removed these infections using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Try it.
In fact, we've switched from selling almost all Dell systems to almost all HP systems because of it
What? I work at a local computer store in Ponce, Puerto Rico, we sell Dell systems in volume to the government, mostly for schools, I would say about 90% of our customers still want XP, the other 10% just don't care about the OS. Dell still provides the option to buy a Vista Business license with Windows XP Pro pre-loaded (they use a VLK), the catch, as we saw a few days back on the news, is that they charge $50 more, the customers don't care, because the government is paying, so, most of them order it with XP. Does HP charge the extra $50 for this?
The Vatican are trying to update their status in society because if they don't, they lose followers, I wonder if sometime in the future they will "approve" human cloning too by saying something like "maybe God wanted us humans to create clones", I don't know, they'll try anything to manipulate society, but let's see what happens...
how he simply calls it a "work-in-progress", even when microsoft wants windows users to adopt Vista. So let's get this, if you buy Vista, you are testing a work-in-progress OS until microsoft gets enough feedback to "perfect" Windows 7 because they will abandon Vista, and then you will have to buy the new "finished" version. Hell, if Windows 7 doesn't work out, it will simply be called another WIP.
So children will kill racoons to wear their fur to be like Mario? This is just PETA again mad at another company because they don't think like them.
I think they'll use this technology for sure to unblur the movies.
We are always here.

It should be Toshiba Qosmio, not Qosimo...

Do it yourself (don't pirate them?), they even show you how to build this $499 cable...
