That's rather the point: they do *not* have the right to charge more. And in addition they are preventing people in one part of the EU buying from another: as a UK resident Apple will stop me buying from the continental iTunes store. That's explicitly against the law in Europe and hence the complaint.
In 16 years I've never had a HD crash (and in an average year my wife and own a total of 4 computers, 2 desktop and 2 laptop, plus 1 iPod).
In contrast I have numerous CDs, also dating back 16 years, that no longer play, or will only play some tracks: largely that's due to scratches etc but hey CDs are unprotected: scratches happen.
Insight is obtained by listening to a persons views even if you do not agree with it. -Me
Perhaps, if a little pretentious.
However it seems that 'insightful' is something that can be obtained by simply reciting some platitudes utterly lacking in insight that pander to the mods' prejudices.
I really can't see that your post added anything very much at all to the discussion.
Actually I think, with one big exception, Enterprise is rather good. In terms of feel its very much more like the original ST but with a bit more of an edge (none of this no money bollocks). They've even improved things by making replicators much cruder and transporters unreliable so the writers dont keep having to come up with reasons why they cant be used to solve this week's episodes.
The big, big, mistake they made was not only did they not reduce the whole time travel thing, they've made it the cornerstone of the over-arching story. The whole "temporal cold war" is just such a terrible idea.
So what?
I have nothing but contempt for WinDOH!s and many of Microsoft's products (except their mice which I love) but how the hell has Paul Allen personally owning it got anything to do with how good/bad it is?
EF 1 was great, but far too short. EF 2 was a great game smothered by story telling drivel. STA was awful so I never played STA2 but my nephew loved it.
Just wait until David "Hitler" Blunkett hears about it: there'll be new laws in parliament outlawing it or requiring any VOIP users to first prove, on pain of becoming Blunkett's new guide dog, that they are who they say they are.
Edward
PS: The fact that David Blunkett, a "Labour" (eg Socialist, left wing), is best mates with the editor of one the most right wing tabloids (the Daily Mail) has nothing to do with him behaving like a rabid dog: I think he must be trying to out right-wing Margaret Thatcher just to impress his editor friend.
What no-one seems to have mentioned as a possibility is the most obvious and likely one: Walmart's software is bugged so it's either not properly crediting the cards in the first place: or it's debiting them when it shouldn't
As the old saying goes: never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence.
Really? Have some pictures of a 10 year old TI showing this feature? I've owned/used many laptops, starting with the first "luggables" amd the first time I saw an external meter like this was on my PowerBook. Not calling you a liar or anything (yet;-) but I'm astonished I'd missed something like that.
Interesting. Looks pretty in an "iPod with all the minimalism taken away" way. Couldn't tell how big it was (do like the built in FM transmitter idea: wonder if it sucks as bad as the iTrip does with the iPod).
Yes I'd go along with that. I used to go back to TA occassionally, but I frequently played Starcraft (the units there have character which is something the TA's units completely lack). Until WC3 came along that is. Roll on SC2 !
Actually it sizes the Window to display all the content: ie it makes it as big as it needs to be and no more. I found this disconcerting for a long time but always thought it made sense and I'm getting used to it.
Or not. Whilst a nice idea (portrait takes on evil and ageing aspects whilst Dorian stays young and handsome) the novel itself is tedious and dull. If you want to read some Oscar Wilde "The Importance of Being Ernest" is much better.
Even more interesting if they'd had wings and halos.
I think it's interesting how people automatically assume their side is "good" and therefore anyone that opposes them must be "evil". Perhaps the Jews are right: God is vengeful AND all-powerful.

You allow your 8 year old to wander off by herself? FFS what kind of a parent are you?

The plural of virus is viruses you fuckwit.

Of all the childish things I have seen posted on /. (and there have been many) this has got to top the bill.
What's Ryan going to tell us next, that his dad is bigger than your dad?
Don't know whether you noticed or not by The Governator is not a Democrat.

Rubbish.
The case on the G4 iMac is not a heatsink. For a start it's plastic!
The case on most Wintel laptops (eg Dell) are also plastic and not heat sinks.
So much for that load of bollocks. Anymore random and illinformed comments to make?
Read your sig. I know what redunant is and your post is a perfect example.
How is some random and unfounded speculation "insightful": flamebait or troll surely would be more accurate.

Ooh I bet you have David "Hitler" Blunkett quaking in his boots.
Dude!
It's a rhetorical question: ie one asked to make a point and not requiring an answer. Another example might be: Don't you feel stupid now?
There are 80gig players? I thought the current biggest was 40gigs?

No, surely not!
