i think they are going to capitalize on the fact that the content will be available, and if your xbox is already hooked up to the internet and your telescreen, people will check out the media.
from the EULA: " 5. Software Conflicts.
Conflicts may occur with other software applications that may already be installed on your computer. The Xupiter software will report back to our servers what applications may be running on your system and will resolve these conflicts whenever possible. This will make our software more reliable and provide you with products and services that are compatible with your current system settings. "
i remember when they changed the finishing moves in mortal kombat on SNES. i was mad, becasue the finishing move was the best part of MK. nintendo has always catered to the youngins, but we liked it anyway because their games were well made
I think they also need to work on appealing to adults. i think xbox and PS have the current angle of appealing to an adult crowd. their game quality is as good as ever, but people dont want to see mario and co. as the only characters on the screen.
Disney is on the vanguard of creativity. from their hits beauty and the beast all the way to alladin, they have created nothing but original, cutting edge entertainment
ii'm not suprised that there has been no media coverage. the only thing heard is "disney won" echoing from the mouth of ABC/disney news pawns. http://www.cjr.org/owners/disney.asp
here is a list of all the other things in the conglomerate. this site is great when the man keeps you down.
this is true. people, if they like rollins' work, will support him. people dont want to pay for the whole album or even a single that they will listen to for a month and then not listen to. especially if the song is by an artist that is already making more money than the people downlaoading the song. most honet artists dont sign with majors because the majors restrict their freedom anyway.
I ran into this more on audiogalaxy. now if i'm surfing P2P i sort by file size and go for the biggest size. i dont think i've encountered this yet off of AG

i use tiny personal firewall, it doesnt use a ton of resources and it is freeware or shareware or something like that. no ads. itshows you what applications do what on what port and allows you to change them accordingly.
this made me think that apple is such a tight crew becasue it has been the only competitor for MS. i hate to come down to "Joe User" but in the desktop computer area joe hasnt had choices. it was go with a PC and windows or pay more for an apple. now, people can have the ease of PC hardware without having to pay for a mac. i think as linux develops it will cause problems for apple more than MS. it seems linux is ready for the desktop, now Joe just has to realize that there are comparable software solutions outside of MS and apple
the worst is when you're used to driving a car with a stick. you go to hit the clutch, hit nothing and flail with your foot. then you find a pedal and apply much force. unfortunately this is the brake pedal, causing you to rapidly decvelrate.
social security numbers are decided based on your birth state and other info. this article is pretty interesting

i've noticed recently that more commercials also have phones ringing, and every time i hear one when i'm not staring at the tv i look around and see if my phones are ringing, and then i curse the commercial
oil elected george bush... are you suprised that SUV gas mileage has only been mandated to improve 1.5 mpg?

do you really think giving the logs of this website will stop terror? i'm sure most things are under the freedom of info act, like the smoking gun. do you think people can't use the anonymizer or some other means of obscuring their true identity? it's not a matter of self destruction. if we give up our freedoms to anyone, be it a foreign terrorist or our own government, the terrosrists have succeeded in their goal of disrupting our freedom.
i went to Arizona to visit the grand canyon over the summer, and it was the first time i was exposed to the desert. i'm from pennsylvania and used to lots of trees and streams. i was shocked to learn that due to the extreme height of the area (around 7000 ft above sea level) there are 3 wells in the town near the canyon. all the toilet and wash water is recycled. there are huge basins connected to all of the gutters on buildings. it was pretty impressive.
unfortunately, the tap water in philadelphia is thoroughly disgusting so i use a brita filter.

i found songs of similar but not perfect length that were just loops of the chorus of the song or the first verse looped for a few minutes

i proppose that any relevant info on the linked site be cut and pasted before the site is /. ed. the google cache for cryptome is from 3 days ago.
