    ABS isn't your problem. Shitty cars and not getting them fixed are you're problem. If you don't want the added safety of ABS, just pull out the ABS fuse. Good luck braking/steering in an emergency.

    Most Crown Vitorias used by taxis and police are hybrids... that is, natural gas conversions. They are capable of running on gasoline and cleaner natural gas. It would be nice to see gas-electric hybrids though.

    It already exists.
    Privacy.ca is a service that allows domain holders to protect their confidential contact information from prying eyes. It does this by only giving out your domain contact information to registered and verified users who have proven a need for it. Each time Privacy.ca releases any information, you are informed of whom it was released to and why. This puts you in control of who has your personal information.

    If you have the Prism Chipset you should head to http://prism54.org
    There's a working linux driver and lots of support. However, it's still VERY experimental and can be tough to get working... but it does work.

    True...

    I bet that the temperature inside the chip is higher than what the motherboards thermal sensor reports and that if they could integrate these thermal diodes into the chip itself, it would produce electricity AND reduce chip temperature (which would be really cool).

    I'd like to see these chips used to convert the heat back to electricity in computers.

    Right now they're only effective at 200'F but hopefully they can improve on that.

    That's continuous usage... so unless you drive your car 24/7 it should last a lot longer.

    For example, if you drove 3 hrs a day every day, it would last over 18 years.

    Have you tried a Tablet PC?
    I've tried my friend's and ones in stores and the handwriting recognition works remarkably well even without training it.
    Besides, one of the best features is that it can store raw handwriting and doodles/diagrams.

    I'd like have one, but like you said the price is just too high.

    I'm pretty sure the cheat is that the tires are weighted... Notice how they accelerate after they get hit. They're setup balanced and when they get bumped slightly they speed up.

    Heh... I don't know if you know... but FETs is also the short form for Field Effect Transistors.
    As in MOSFETs (which are made from silicon)
