ABS isn't your problem. Shitty cars and not getting them fixed are you're problem. If you don't want the added safety of ABS, just pull out the ABS fuse. Good luck braking/steering in an emergency.
Who did you end up switching too and what kind of deal did you get?
I'm pretty fed up with Rogers too, and as soon as the NHL playoffs are done I plan on switching.
Most Crown Vitorias used by taxis and police are hybrids... that is, natural gas conversions. They are capable of running on gasoline and cleaner natural gas. It would be nice to see gas-electric hybrids though.
"Second question. Why not have some small fee in order to access the WHOIS database."
It already exists.

If you have the Prism Chipset you should head to http://prism54.org
There's a working linux driver and lots of support. However, it's still VERY experimental and can be tough to get working... but it does work.
I bet that the temperature inside the chip is higher than what the motherboards thermal sensor reports and that if they could integrate these thermal diodes into the chip itself, it would produce electricity AND reduce chip temperature (which would be really cool).
Have you tried a Tablet PC?
I've tried my friend's and ones in stores and the handwriting recognition works remarkably well even without training it.
Besides, one of the best features is that it can store raw handwriting and doodles/diagrams.
I'd like have one, but like you said the price is just too high.
I'm pretty sure the cheat is that the tires are weighted... Notice how they accelerate after they get hit. They're setup balanced and when they get bumped slightly they speed up.

Agreed, Bose has a history of overpriced equipment that isn't any better than the status quo.

Right now they're only effective at 200'F but hopefully they can improve on that.
For example, if you drove 3 hrs a day every day, it would last over 18 years.
haha!
