    I do work, at my job. I don't care about being a great gamer, I usually only play dated games. I don't give a fuck about my epenis.
    In your universe, I wouldn't have fun, because I'm not hardcore. For you, the 3 months I spent playing FFX this year weren't work enough, because the grinding wasn't too hard and the series is not prone to having you lose 2 or 3 hours on a couple of die rolls anymore.
    To that I say, no. You take your Ninja Gaidens and what not, I'll take the easy difficulty level, or other games, and we can all be happy.

    Great gamer, pfff. I worry about being a great lover, a great friend, an knowledgeable person, etc. Being good at virtual worlds is not really one of my interests.

    I bought a machine two years ago, with Vista. Yes, with 2gb of ram. Sloooow.
    Changing settings can be something as simple as organizing the 300 entries of the Start menu.
    Classic is beautifully simple. Better than Apple's, for me, which tries too hard to be cool.

    That's not true, I've heard from someone inside Quimonda that they purposely asked for lower quality standards in order to reach demand. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find that it asked the same of the rest of their suppliers.

    WTF? Sure, it works, but it takes a lot longer then XP. You either live on a different reality or are trolling, I can't see any other reason why <i>anyone</i> would claim Vista is anywhere near as fast as XP. When I finally "upgraded" from Vista to XP (after a year and a half, damn hard to find drivers) the difference was tremendously obvious.
    If it's true, good for you. I just can't believe it, at all.

    Sure you can, you can even sell something that is closed source with an open LGPL module. What you want is to use someone else's work without paying anything in return, and only BSD-type licenses lets you do that. Again, you can probably reach an agreement.

    No, it doesn't. You can use the LGPL one as long as you want. But if you want a closed one, they want to make an extra buck off of you, so that you don't buy it only when you release. Nothing unusual. I'm sure that companies could come to an understanding with them.

    I think you missed the point. Not only do (most) people already have the PS2 (which plays PS2 and PSX games), but they probably already played most of the great games for it as well.
    Not so much with the others consoles. It's an interesting point.
