Maybe there is no encryption because that takes CPU power. The 8051 cpu inside probably has very little horsepower behind it. Most people aren't going to wait more than a few seconds between photos.
Using two Rage Pro processors in parallel, the card carried a fairly high price tag
The Rage Fury Maxx used to Rage 128 Pro chips. I found this article to be missing a lot of milestone video cards. No review could be complete w/o a Virge card, plain and simple. The first 3D decelerator.
..XGIs top model Volari Duo V8 Ultra
WOW!!
but - wait a minute - guess I'll wait for the Volari Quattro Triplex V12 Turbo GTI XXL
_ThAT'll be a nice graphics card!?
Sounds like the marketting divisions of Audi and Alfa Romeo had a child out of wedlock.
I could see the problem here. My Motorola C331t phone has my friends numbers programmed into 1 touch dialing. I'll get calls from people saying I called them but all they heard was rustling sounds and background noise. (From me dropping it into my pocket without locking it)
It is not that much. Considering the amount of contractors Microsoft hired to deal with the virus explosion recently. Multiply by the going contract rate, times 8 hours a day and they're easily burning through that on a daily basis!
As the Mac OS series moves on, certain hardware is eventually dropped. This may be their only chance to keep their system going with something current. Also it adds the possibility to use any NetBSD supported PCI cards on your Mac.
This reminds me of Theo talking about running SunOS (68k) binaries on really fast 68k hardware supported by OpenBSD.
Reality TV overload! I never liked Survivor. Joe Millionaire, bachelor, any of those, I can't stand. In fact, reality tv is the exact opposite, they put people in unreal situations and film it while they make them gimmicky. There was one "reality" show that I did like. Frontier Quest, a Canadian show that aired on PBS in the US. Why? Because they didn't turn it into a "produced" show making the people do wierd stuff... They were given simple rules, spend one year on the frontier and then they sit back and film it. But in general, if I want to watch something "real" I'll watch the evening news.
Just think if one day you walk into a computer store and see the 100Ghz Intel system running Windows 2015 and next to it you have your quantum computer running bochs in linux, simulating 100 100Ghz intel computers.
Not every web designer is a geek. I've seen a few who migrated from desktop publishing to web site making. Most of whom were raised on the Mac and rarely if ever use any HTML.
I've heard quite a few Mac users complaining about the top menu bar being burned into their expensive LCD screens. (Pre-OSX days). I've seen it myself while watching the Mac boot after being off for a long period of time.
According to LG Electronics, their ODD (Optical Disc Drive) products do not support Linux nor do they test with Linux. Unfortunately, many Dell computers (possibly others) come with these CD-ROM drives.
Solution: Currently there is no solution or work-around for this issue; it is still under investigation. Damage occurs even when doing a network install. At this point, please do not install Mandrake Linux 9.2 on any computer containing a LG-based CD-ROM drive or it will damage your CD-ROM drive! We are actively looking for a solution to this problem.
To me, it sounds like LG is not being very helpful in the situation. I say we boycott LG products until they change their policies. Even put some pressure on Dell as well, considering they sell servers with Linux some may have LG drives in them.
Considering since the beginning Linux has been designed to run on machines that are "Designed for Microsoft Windows(tm)" So what is there to worry about?
Especially when people e-mail me without a subject line, sends me a joke containing words like penis, viagra or sex. Please people, for God sakes, put a meaningful subject on your e-mail other than "fw: great joke".
If you do not respond immediately, your access may not continue... Please foreward this e-mail to 10 of your closest e-mail servers and you will get a free Cracker Barrel gift certificate and little Mary-Lou will get her wish of getting e-mail from every American before she dies of Lukemia. If you do not, you will have bad luck for the next 20 years!

I'm not even a native English speaker, and this annoys the fucking hell out of me.
So I'm not an "biggoted yank" after all! You ask someone to work on their grammar and they give you "I'm not a native speaker you insensitve clod!"

It was an HP Envizex terminal from about 1995 or so...
And all that came from it was embedded stuff. I remember seeing an i860 in a X terminal before. And as for i960 nearly all raid cards have one.
Why do the politcal trolls have to be Democrats. Why can't their be Republican trolls? Do conservatives not feel the need to troll forums?
This is slashdot. Nobody clicks on the links in the story.
No... Everyone opens the link in a new tab / browser window but they never get around to reading it. Ergo... Slashdot effect.

Isn't that what the US has been using for years anyway?

It's so nice to see that governments and police forces are finally able to catch up to these kinds of spammers and criminals
KILL THE SPAMMERS!!! But leave dictators alone, they're none of our business!!! What a pathetic world we live in...(Sarcasm)

Since everyone is just throwing legal opinions around, I declare SCO threats to be legally unenforcable. There. Nya nya nya! Come get me!

I thought that was Al-Jazeera's job? Seriously if Al-Jazeera had an account on

the biggest Australian movie star got his fame as a V-8 driving ex-cop loner with a sawed off shotgun
Who incidentally was born in upstate NY and lived there until he was 12.
