I think maybe OP was trying to say that humanity isn't supposed to go about life the way it does now. i.e., under a fluorescent light 40+ hours a week, then in front of a TV for another 20+, etc., and that may be the source of depression.
Pretty much everything but food and shelter is not absolutely necessary. Slashdot is equally unnecessary, so why would you post here if you believe what you say?
My guess on this is that it would be cost prohibitive to make a large drive head(s) that could cover from the interior of the drive ring to the exterior while in a static position, but I like the idea.
I'm kind of surprised they haven't tried their hand in some kind of gaming console. I'm not sure if there is room for another major manufacturer to make a console, but it might make things interesting for a while.
Impersonal level here means taking it like like the earth takes a pile driver and not caring who's operating the equipment or whether they are skilled at it or not.
I don't think that's the case. My parents had an amicable divorce and my friends parents did as well. I don't think a horrible divorce is as sure of a thing as you believe.
Both still anecdotes along with every other story as well though.
Safari is crashing for me quite a bit recently with just one or two tabs open. In fact most of the other apps appear to be quite a bit more stable than Safari. I realize that rendering pages from many different authors is probably difficult, but it's happening pretty frequently now.
But they'd never be forced to testify on it if it potentially harmed them then. Assuming you are saying you should have the right to not "incriminate" yourself in a civil case.
That's why I double NAT.

I'm just doing this for fun, but wouldn't it be a couple clicks and 'disable ICMP' radio button in DD-WRT? :)

The only thing worse than what Bush did is what Obama is doing.
And what is that?

I can see this as a good thing if it's for similar or big ticket items, but a bad thing if it's for DVD's, etc. -DNRTFA

I use 8 and 4 o'clock positions, but I think it's mostly because I'm lazy and don't want to hold up my arms for very long.

You don't have to do anything you don't want to do, you are choosing to do so. And the M$ crap is getting old...

Or they need a C compiler to start a WWIV BBS. ;)

There were touch screens at the local Arby's here for customer ordering and that was in the 80's.

Because I hated math then, when I went to HS and never learned it well so I'm hoping they did something in the meantime to make it more palatable? ;)

Instant jitters and an easy way to dose higher than you'd expect.

You've posted this link 5 times in this thread, do you think that's enough?
Because it's the right thing to do?

Isn't the PC an open gaming platform?

Thanks, I think I will.

What would you do with three testicles? Or did you lose a bet before? :)

You sound fun at parties.

If it extended to civil cases you'd never see anyone successfully sued for defective cars or harsh work conditions, etc.
