    As a former C.Ph.T for Walgreens, I agree this is bad news. It's good for increase volume, but I don't think I would totally trust a machine to do this.

    As was stated earlier, Pharmacists offer consultation and check the Rx against patient records.

    I myself have caught bad Rx's on numerous patients. One was an Rx for Anti-Biotics (Sulphur Type), but the patient was deadly allergic to Sulphur.

    Once I had an Rx come in written in an MG dosage that should have been in MCG. This would have kille the man, since it was BP Meds.

    With a machine doing all the work, and not tracking, who's to say what you get in the bottle is what is supposed to be there, what is the stocker mislabeld the Bar Code on the bottle, or cell.... Then what...

I think his imprisonment was a hoax, and the govt has him in a lab somewhere experimenting with stuff..     Computers make us lazy. Think of hom many times you have used your spell check instead of your brain.

    How many times have you used a calculator, instead of a pen and paper.

    How many people using a graphing calc (yes, a computer.. just small type) can acutally still do trig and calc functions without it's use....

    We are becoming very dependent on our technology.

    My gf's friend made 2000.00 on one paycheck (extra on comission alone) in addition to her normal salary. She sells furniture. My gf got a 1000.00 bonus on her paycheck for passing a test and finding flaws in the Doctors rule book. Also in addition to her normal pay. ---I deal with real "genius's" every day, and I get normal pay..... Man, I think I might become a Dental Asst, or salesperson.... stripping's becoming more and more of a draw... money money money

    I'm not familar with these devices, but the EN5851 SDSL routers have the capibility to turn themselves in to CO and Client devices. You can take two 5851's and put them on Copper pair upto 17K/ft and not need a DSLAM, CO Eq, etc. One SDSL router will be in CO mode, and the other in normal CPE mode. You can then link two places together over your own private SDSL carrier. IF you can do this with these two, then the statement about the college dorm would be great. Get SWB to run a couple Copper Pairs to your house from him (if you're not that far) and then bind them together (yes you can, if you don't think you can you're an idiot) with an Advanced LAN/WAN router, and you've just made your own private DSL...

    Real nice, but did you stop to think he might be right. We do think very logically, we have to, or we can't do our jobs... Computers don't do things out of anger or love, they do it because of the 1's and 0's. Getting a 100% logic on jury would be tough on the people their, you wouldn't need opening arguements, sentiments would be ignored, they would look at cold hard facts, period.... Talk about needing a spine, you posted anonymously you coward!

    Amazing how the great old free world thinks that it owns the internet. (wonder if Gore had something to do with this, since he invented it). How arrogant to believe that one govt can own something that doesn't really exist anywhere but on your PC..... because, what is the WWW other than a large LAN (very large). They are calling on ISP's to help do this, I don't see them helping... For one, if the customers find out, they'll raise hell and quit, then no more ISP's, then no more WWW... oh well, I prob should get out more anyways.... I don't see this sudden need for Bush and his Cab to know everything about everyone, since when did he become God. (Or Ra, or Allah, or Zeus, or whomever our relig supports)..

    (In 1492 we set out on a voyage to find a land where we can practice our beliefs without persecution from the govt. --- In 2002 we are still looking for that land)

    Now waiting for the patent holder(s) of PS/2 interface to sue Sony for the shortname of PS2. IBM can sue for the name as well, since they had a computer called PS/1 and PS/2 Everyone wants a piece of action.... geez..     As an ISP Asst Admin, I would have to agree with the others. There is no legitimate reason they should block the NTP port from you. I understand why they are so strict though, it's probably to help keep the P2P down from within their network. Move to another ISP, or you can do this. Get a buddy with a *nix machine on the outside to setup an SSH server on port 80, then run the ssh client to connect to the server on port 80 or 25 or 110. Then have your NTP loopback to itself and SSH will forward it to the other machine, and have him run NTPserv, then you can do it..... ---but, it would just be easier to move to a different ISP.

    I feel that most xDSL/Cable routers should more appropriately be called Gateways since JoeBlow user has a stub network and has only 1 static route.. and that's to the internet, period; via the xDSL Adapter or Cable Device.... I hate it when people call xDSL Adapters Modems.. because they are not modems. They should also only be called NATDevices, if they are hosting an EXT IP and then trans over to an internet net of some class. My SDSL is an actual route device. I own IPs and route between two (real) networks. I also route VPN, etc packets everywhere else. To those who know, thankyou.. I wish more people understood Networking... --but if they did, then we wouldn't have a job :-D

    Makes even happier that I bought a PS2... Wonder how long it will be before those banned modded boxes form their own Anti-MS domain. A Domain in which you are banned if you don't have a modded box... wouldn't that be some nice irony, until the lawyers started knocking. I would like to see an OpenSource game console developed by the GNU community running a Unix OS, and complete source on the web.. That would kick ass...
