If they were smart they would quit wasting time trying to beat a dead horse.. There's only so fast you can spin the disc before it will destroy itself.. Why are we so obsessed with a technology derived from records.. With chips getting smaller, faster, and cheaper, they should be making NVRAM-Drives. I would much rather have 100GB NV-RAM Drive than an HDD. Imagine how much faster the computer would run, no more latency issues with HDDs, no more head crashes, less space to take up, no more of this PM/SM/CS/Slave crap. Imagine updgrading NVRAM-Drive space, it would be as simple as installing another module... Imagine the possiblities

No.. Put your foot in your mouth... I am a Network Administrator for an ISP, I do DSL, Digital Lines like T1 T2 T3 ISDN Frame etc., Dial Up, Domains, Unix Support, Windows Support, Linux Support, Off Site and On-Site Network design and support. I also have to deal with people like you all day long. I am also on-call 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. I have 4 college degrees, 2 cert's and have been using computers since I was 5, and I'm only 22 yrs of age. I don't appreciate idiots like you, who assume that my name here and my title are the same. Am I the only one who sees the similarity to the modern Anti-Terrorism Plan and the old Salem Witch Hunts? Now they have hotlines and numbers to call in if you suspect some one is involved in Terrorist Activities, or other likewise mischief. So, how are we, the supposed great nation, going to fall back to the Witch Hunts by fingering somebody a Terrorist.... Hey!, I saw that guy wearing a white robe, he's a terrorist.. I saw that lady acting suspicous,, she's an Al-Qaida member.... We were all tought of the attrocities in Salem and other locations for supposed Witches, and now we are doing the same thing again.. How many innocent people have been killed by Terrorism this year, last year, all years?.. How many innocents will be killed, or imprisoned for life because of Anti-Terrorism?? Hopefully our elected officials will be wise enough to see what's going on, and to stop accusing everything of being a "Terrorist" network or activitiy.
They could also just talk to each other, so language should be outlawed... They could call each other up on the phone, so Telephones should be banned. They could use hand gestures, so arms should be amputated at birth. Soon we will be nothing more than mindless zombies with no vocal cords, eyes, ears, arms, legs, or brains... we will site around and starve because people could possibly send messages through food..... when will it all end, just nukem and it get it over with.... Ok, that's the dumbest thing yet... You can fake IP's, everyone knows that... But, you can also fake MAC Addresses... HEll my LinkSys Router does it, Cisco's do it, and I'm sure most other devices like that do it too..... Besides, like mentioned earlier, you can always rewrite your frame generator to spoof or report and invalid MAC,... this is all fairly easy to do, so why waste time doing this. I have already admin'd a Counter-Strike server, if someone wants in and wants to cheat bad enough, they will do it.. PERIOD!, no matter how hard you lock it down.. so quit the whinning and get back to kicking them.!!

Imagine what's flying around now, spying on you and taking pictures of you scratching your self when you think no one's looking? Or getting those lovely pics of you cheating on your spouse... hehe.. I want to see what the next release will be like. Prob small enough to fly around in your house, and literally be a "fly on the wall".....

I know where you are coming from though, I have been told to "move out of the country" because of something I replied to, and I take it as an insult because I was born and raised here. If had moved here, I could understand, but this is my home, and I hate to see what's becoming of it. Is does use UDP, but you forogt to mention that UDP doesn't have built in mechanisms for ordering packets if they travel different routes through the net, which almost always happens... You bundle the UDP paylod into and RTP/RTCP packets, then send those out. Other wise, when you say : "Hi, How are you?" You would get : "You how,!are." w/o no sequence and correction. VoIP is a very nice service, I have very little problems with the box that I maintain for the ISP.
Hmm.... in medicine, if you had a body part that heavliy infested with a virus, you'd cut it off or segregate from the rest of the public so the infection won't spread....
Maybe China should be disconnected from the global internet until they can learn some Internet Common Sense and get some AV-Software.. Anyone know the number to Symantec?
Our govt is the largest collection of hypocrites in the world. They all need to be fired and replaced with monkeys... as they would do a better job running the country, and would work for bananas.....Democrat, Republican, it doesn't matter, they are all useless. They all lie, cheat, steal, and every single one of them is a yellow-bellied coward.... Spending all this money fighting a P2P network.. Why don't they try to fix the deficit, work on peace, or something intelligent...... Wait..!!!
