The point of any consumer product like a computer or a game console is that the end user shouldn't have to make adjustments like installing new cooling systems. The manufacturer should take care of these needs, otherwise it's an incomplete product. How would you feel if in order to use your brand-new card you bought, you immediately had to do an overhaul so it wouldn't stall on the highway on your way home from the dealership?
If this pricing policy would be adopted here in the States, I'd be happy as a clam. Then I could finally get some good phones that are currently only sold to Europe and not have to pay for the phone that came 'free' with my contract as well.
There are plenty in and around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul). But then again, maybe it's because Minnesota's done things like already bring our emissions levels below Kyoto requirements?
By the time these things are rolled out, I'll hopefully be employed. With that logic in hand, I'd be game for one if my employer would be willing to chip in on the price. I see a dramatic difference between changing a computer's processor from 3ghz to 3.6ghz and changing the computer's footprint from 14" to 12" and dramatically improving battery life.
Have multiple systems. It would be the most effective way to have the patent system. Perhaps one system for drugs, another for software, another for &c.... This way different types of inventions could have different patent lives, different protections against copying, you name it.
With the phrase "phone that bends," I believed that the message was conveying that the phone was somewhat like the Gumby character. Also, it's not really as if the phone bends because you have to unslide the thing for it to "bend." The phrase "phone that bends" would apply more logically to a candybar-styled phone.
From those pictures, it's impossible to tell if the phone bends or if it just slides on a curved track. From http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motorizrz8/, it looks like part of the back end of the phone can pivot once the phone is slid open. I hardly call that bending.
How about this:
By not ensuring that enough money could be spent early on, he has caused the war to escalate to an extreme level. The result is that now we have to spend more money than we had to if we had just done the job right. It's kind of like when a contractor tries to build something without enough widgets, something bad happens because of the lack of widgets, and suddenly that $1mil project has exploded to a $20mil sinkhole, and he's still short n widgets.
When I try that, I keep getting messages saying "Are you sure you want to do this?" followed by "Are you *really* sure you want to do this?" and "Are you *really*,..., *really* sure you want to do this?" God damn, the new security panel is annoying!
Now, I'm no supporter of Bush, nor nearly any of his policies. But I'd also be interested in seeing which other political groups AEI is affiliated or associated with. I'm sure they're somehow tied to parts of the Democratic party.... Basically, what I'm saying is that a lot of these groups are trying to get close to groups other than Bush and the neo-cons.
The Recording Industry Association of America, which has coordinated most of the lawsuits, issued a statement saying, "The record industry has suffered enormously due to piracy. That includes thousands of layoffs.
Of course they've done layoffs. That's because once a star gets too big, they cost too much. It's not that hard for the record industry to create a new sensation and not have to pay them squat. Re: New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, The Monkees, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, 4ORCE, Hanson....
Back in the 80's and NES was still new? How about back in the 90's? Although, I do have to admit that Guitar Hero was nothing new, it was basically DDR with a different controller. But I'd hate to say that "innovative, original games have no chance." This has two flaws:
1) You have to state when they suddenly ceased to have a chance
and
2) It's rephrasing the thought "there's no need to spend any more time researching because any more advances in science would've come up already"
It's either gdesklets or adesklets. I'm inclined to say adesklets, seeing as gdesklets has been down for a while now. The desklets actually used are most likely from the sidecandy collection
Exactly. I type in "International News" into http://www.msdewey.com/ and I have to scroll down seriously to find the BBC. Meanwhile, I get shitty cnn and msnbc as the top results, as well as many unprofessional-looking sites. In addition to that, I have to do an additional click to mute the damn annoying chick while I'm scrolling through the list which is incredibly hard to read due to colour combinations.
I call BS on that, especially seeing that the submission on/. included two links to stories related and neither was a direct link to an application. Brought to light to Slashdot? Yes, that I can believe.
So you're saying that rather than contribute a little bit for someone that was rushed into the hospital via ambulance and doesn't have insurance, you'd say "No thanks, I'd rather keep my 1/100 of a penny; tough shit, I guess little Jimmy will have to die today."
Who do you think covers people's bills for emergencies when they don't have insurance?
I think Arnold said it best from a fiscal standpoint, since your only complaint is about money:
Providing children with primary and preventative health care reduces the likelihood that they will later require treatment for chronic long-term conditions.
But then again, this is a political matter, and as such is open to pointless debate because nobody here is going to convince another here that they're opinion is any better than everyone elses.
doesn't have the same appeal as whitehouse.com For some reason, it just sounds cheap.... Plus, how could you ever get away with saying that you accidentally went to the wrong site?
Therefore, doesn't address the author's question.

Lemme check.....
Yep, Zonk is responsible.

Odds are they'd fuck up and use whitehouse.com instead....

What, you mean Mormons? Dummm, da dum, da dumm...
...diamonds are forever. This thing has how much time to catch up on?
Does it come with a giant "Laser beam?"
