I strongly doubt this, Valve has said that as time goes on, the benefits from the "mixed mode" will decrease as time goes on(specifically look at page 3 of Hardocp's article, slide titled "Good News/Bad News"). They are gonna add more visual features, not remove them.

Could you possibly elaborate on "not the same game that existed in beta in some very fundamental ways." because I have the game, and I haven't noticed any *major* changes to the game.
You bought it the day it came out, and after 10 hours you got tired of it? You do realize that there was a beta, a free beta, a free beta that you had 100% chance of getting into, and all you had to do was download it from fileplanet. Since you bought it the day it came out, you must have known about the game a bit beforehand, so why didn't you just d'load the beta and see if you liked it before throwing away $50?
he probably should have specified which radeon, since it doesnt look like ATi intends on using any other product name for the forseeable future, though maybe now they will need to switch to letters, since Radeon 19764 doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
I'm pretty sure by "saving money" he meant that by, as you say, "stealing", he would have to spend LESS money to aquire these games than he would if he was to go out and buy it. Why you thought it necessary to go off rambling about how piracy is theft simply because he said he would be "saving money" is beyond me, he never said that it WASNT stealing, simply that the money coming from his pocket would be lower.
I think those were at 1024x768(unless they reduced the image size), and don't anyone dare arguing that the fx was using 8x AA, because the 9700pro LOOKS better, not to mention 2x+ fps, just look at the "wire" thing near the upper left of the screen, it is significantly better looking on the 9700.

Not if it lets people who KNOW HOW TO USE IT do what they need in a signifantly more efficient manner. As far as I care, all GUI's should be more difficult to use, people are too stupid as it is.

It's not like they FORCED Nintendo to sell its stock. This is just seeing an oportunity to grab them cheap and increase revenue on MS's part. If you really want to yell at someone, yell at Nintendo, since they're the ones who SOLD it.
You can have multiple web pages open at once in the browser, there are tabs on the screen that you can use to switch between them, so you dont need to have tons of browsers open at once.
