    Well, I said that because expoential growth starts slow, and then skyrockets (Like the earth population over the last 1000 years)
    And logarithmic growth is more like the acceleration rate of a car taking off from a stop light.
    Anyway, I was applying that to a decay, since it decays fast at first, but then the decay rate slows, but this was in error I suppose.

    My mom is actually a telemarketer (poor soul) anyway, she says the companies are ok with DNC list, because it weeds out the uninterested people. I am sure they still have enough numbers to keep them busy.

    If you are running Linux, are you sure that you always want someone else to install software as root in the background?
    Generally, Windows users will accept things like this as a convenience, whereas Linux is more about you having control over your system, rather than some UberCompany. Besides, scheduling updates, and starting them in easy enough once you tell it to start. (at least with RH and SuSE)
    Just my 2 cents.

    Abusive corporations like this always target the most suceptible and defenceless in their marketing, so why not thier lawsuits?

    That is like saying I replaced my old car with a new one, and I can't find the engine crank. Linux Ext filesystems dont need to be defragmented my friend, and with ext3, no more scanDisk/fsck crap. Defreagging and scanDisk are outdated obsolete processes, replaced by superior technology.

    As for token-ring support, its there, I've never used it, but I know Linux has it.

    Heat doesn't, but enought energy can bring apart water (Heat == energy) Remember electrolisys?

    Also, Beryllium and Magnesium do not spontaneously react with water. Wet magnesium is just that, wet metal. It is the rare-earth metals that react with water (Group IA). And also, they react more strongly as you move down the table (Li reacts slowly, Na will spark, flame and jump, Cesium will become a bomb in water.)

    It is important to note that overconsumption of SPAM will inevitably lead to cardiac arrest. And this condition could become known as a SpamArrest. This medial term, IMHO should not be reserved by a software company, but should be availiable for its proper medical application.

    Hormel, however would be wise to let the co. have the name, to avoid heart attacks being associated with their meat.

    My familiy is low-income... but financial aid even then does not pay for all of my schooling. Fed-loans pay a good chunk, but still, that's just loans. So, I wouldn't say that college students dont worry about bills.

    I am just curious, but around our University, it seems that when Nov. Client is installed on machines, it will turn a 2GHz machine into a slow beast, that takes way to long to don anything? Any ideas on mhy this would happen?
