... the kids will still be free to watch people being murdered, tortured, blown up, stabbed, shot etc etc on various forums and sites. But thats ok. Just so long as they don't get to see any tits or arse then they'll be fine.
Sex - its monstrous! Should be outlawed! Hopefully in the year of our Lord 1819 in which the UK government lives will see the end of these vile online fornicators!
I wonder why. Speaking as someone who keeps getting turned down for embedded dev jobs despite having PIC and arduino programming experience along with my 20+ years of system level C,C++ and x86 assembler programming, I suspect its the usual case of a company wanting high grade skills but only wanting to pay low grade wages.
Who said deterence is the only goal? Prevention of further crimes by the criminal is just as important and the death penalty does that perfectly with the added bonus of not costing the same as a 4 star hotel to keep them incarcerated for their rest of their lives.
" You can now launch from anywhere your plane can get to."
Well not really - you'll still need a lot of the support infrastructure for the rocket, eg fueling etc, even if you don't need an actual pad. Plus with a large rocket strapped beneath I imagine the take off run for that aircraft possibly runs into miles so a huge runway is needed. In the end I suspect it'll only be launched from where current rockets are launched from anyway.
Trillium Money Grabbers more like. I'm no fan of facebook - don't use it - or zuckerberg, but its his baby, he created the company and these parasites have him to thank for the increasing value of their investments. If they don't like it they're free to take their dirty gold elsewhere.
Why not, its not that fucking hard. Perhaps learn your trade as you obviously have no idea how to do multi threaded programming and are lost without someone having done the hard work for you. Maybe web dev would be more your ability level.
You're joking about steam engines. Their efficiency hovers around 10%. The vast majority of the energy in coal is wasted either simply to keep the water boiling and exhuasted out of the stack while the engine is standing still, or used in warming it all up for a few hours in the first place.
Objective C is just the very poor mans C++. The latter is still being developed (2020 version out next year) whereas the former fossilised in the late 90s. No sane dev ever wanted to learn it unless they had absolutely no choice.
Perhaps it shouldve wiped your arse for you too? If you want async go learn about threading or multiprocess with IPC FFS instead of being a coding baby and expecting some plug and play lego brick solution to every basic problem you encounter.
However you say it in whatever fucked up dialect of English you speak, here in England where real English is spoken we say go on a course. And the only advantage of a hybrid setup is for energy recovery plus to prevent engine labour at low rpm. So go get youself a fucking clue.
Diesel electric locos have nothing to do with energy saving and everything to do with not having to have a very complex and fragil emechanical transmission system going to 12 wheels on 2 pivoting bogies. Before electric there was diesel hydraulic which solved the same problem albeit less reliably.
Yup. For stop start driving in cities hybrids make sense. For long distance driving the battery is just a deadweight being dragged around by the ICE thats doing all the work. Also diesel is much less flammable than petrol or methanol and doesnt require a spark, so diesel vehicles are allowed in some industrial places that spark ignition cannot go. Eg fuel depots.
7 years of self enforced jail time which is probably longer than he'd have got even if he'd been found guilty in sweden for rape (which was a long way from a dead cert). Any moral authority he may have had he's long since lost and now he just appears as some sad middle aged man who escaped justice. Whatever happens now his days as any kind of go-to guy for privacy concerns are long since gone and who would trust this man with their whistle blowing secrets after the way he's behaved?
In the end it'll just be a global case of pathogen whack-a-mole as more and more diseases become resistent to the ever shrinking amount of medicines we have to combat them. When you're talking about fungi, bacteria and viruses that can evolve resistance faster than we can create new drugs to combat them the end game is obvious. Of course in the case of bacteria it could be slowed by farmers not force feeding antibiotics to livestock whether they need it or not.
I have no idea what the solution is , if there is one, but I suspect in 50 years time the days of taking pills to cure infection may well be over.
Except 5 years later. I'm failing to stop what exactly is new about this guys approach - people have been knocking out stitched together low quality (in the sense of the music, not reproduction) music since at least the times of the great composers. I've lost count of the number of times I've heard a classic piece and thought "But that sounds similar too..."

No one without a pointy head ever says "performant" with a straight face.

Cave men like that saved your parents arse in WW2. Perhaps you think Hitler and the Japanese should have just had stern words spoken to them?
Moron.
Care to name anyone who's reoffended after being executed?

" It's the C programmer's Smalltalk."
No, its smalltalk syntax nailed onto C in a hideous mashup that never really worked.

" As you alluded to in another post, if the diesel is running at the optimum load/speed, it's hard to beat."
True, but there's some serious conversion losses in the generator and some more in the motor controller system.
Only if its a serial hybrid, not parallel. Almost all car hybrids are the latter.
American is just a nasal screwed over dialect of a real language.

Is that what the trip computer told you? Id take it with a pinch and then some.
Go on a thermodynamics course then get back to us.

"PS: I'm one of the co-founders of Blueseed, the first commercial seasteading venture, back in 2011"
You hero.
This sort of crap has been tried before and never wored. But enjoy the venture capital sucker money until it runs out.
