A friend of mine bought tag and everyone i know got into it (like 15 people, including 5 girls) we used to sit around and play while we had a few beers on a saturday night before we went out. I picked up tag because I'm pretty competitive and the person who owned it was pretty good, got bored of it. Also picked up tekken 4 on it's merits and played that a bit. couldn't really say i'm interested in 5, simply because it's just an iteration. I think that's where the sales come from. The game stands the test of time and each iteration just picks up mostly new players who havn't caught the series before (this theory is, of course, excluding hard core players)
Some of this is valid, but i'm guessing not for the reasons you suggest. Web developers are not well trained generally because of the low barrier for entry. I know, i was hired with no qualifications and basically learned to not suck on the job. Erm, and i'm not well paid, the only reason i don't put extra effort into making web pages more accessable to people with disabilities is the extra time required to do it when i could be moving on to the next job. I think you may be a little paranoid.
heh, i actually have a hard drive that can't be stopped. Fun. Hasn't corrupted itself yet but it's my backup drive and i have to grit my teeth everytime i yank it.
Of course it will be relevent, once it has compatibility with windows you have a massive application base on a libre os. it doesn't really matter if it wanders away from compatibility with 'longhorn' etc, the point is porting to windows proggys to it will be trivial and with the amount of applications already available, enough people may actually be using it to make the porting worthwhile. Effectively you solve the 'chicken and egg' problem by skipping the egg, if that makes sense.
I looked into this, from what i can gather the price of the 2 joysticks and 21 buttons, the x-arcade is cheaper, that's not including the price of the actual sidewinder pad

Yum-cha!
How many times do I have to sing the song?
"Oh, if it's supposed to be possessive, it's just I-T-S, if it's supposed to be a contraction it's I-T-apostrophy-S! Scallywags!"
I've also been thinking about this, it'd be more usefull in a slower mech type game. Also it would be way cooler if you used 2 mice instead of the key/button holding thing
That's crap, a well designed gui would allow a newbie to secure it more easily, your logic makes no sense. How does making something harder to configure make it easier to configure correctly?
I still have no idea how to set a root password on our dev mysql database through code, if I didn't have control center, it'd still be the default
Don't you buy Virtual money everytime you use a bank? Wouldn't you be a little pissed if someone deleted your bank account and said it wasn't real anyways? Obviously this is different, but only because it's not worth as much as 'real money'
Someone should build css into an OS. All apps look and feel determined by on css text file would be fun.

Yeah, i'm sure ut2k4 runs on direct3d in linux
Haven't examined the code, but i've heard it contains valves (c) code, and it is well within their rights to prosecute if that's the case
Who cares, bnetd is alive and well
I'd just like to have one fake email/password so i could remember it for the thousand different sites that want my details
Erm, i believe it's the comments of random myuid.com users testing the system

Heh, javascript isn't vendor neutral. You can't use it in ie without getting exploited.

Actually it's more like a kid's name for vagina, like 'Pee pee'. It's not that offensive.
That search shows nothing relevant. Does this mean it's now a 'valid' question, or that you are a wiener?

If you want to play 2 player lemmings, get an amiga, it's the only way to play
brr, this could possibly not suck too much, instead of 'hanging ten' they're probably just jumping around on slow moving rocks in lava.
popfile allows all your computers to run their email through the same database, maybe you hsould try it.

Caused by the 'can't read while sleeping' thing. Try wearing your contacts to bed
