I created a.dmg from the DVD, wiped my iPod, restored the Tiger image to the iPod (with Disk Utility), set the iBook to boot from the iPod, and restarted. Worked great.
Hell, I didn't even back anything up.
The longest part was restoring all the music onto the iPod.
When the post office re-seals your envelope, they put a nice sticker on it saying that it was opened.
If my packet is sniffed, and barked at, and later determined to be innocent (sometimes the dogs are wrong), will there be some nice header in my transmission letting me know they took a peek?
That'll be a big hint that I need to start using encryption.
I don't believe that he was claiming the Ferraris would break down, more along the lines of their high maintenance costs, such as your 5000 mile tire estimate. And what does a Ferrari tire cost? Maybe you can get one for $250. You could suit up a whole civic for that price, and drive 40,000 miles on them.
Were I to win the lottery, or some other way become wealthy, I'd certainly buy a Ferarri. No question.
I can picture a nice aftermarket (or Apple) docking station for the mini. All the plugs are there, slide the Mini in, and for about double the space, add a firewire harddrive, all the digital audio and composite video outputs, a couple front mounted USB & firewire ports, maybe a IR receiver. All that cool jazz. It should fit perfectly in my entertainment center.
OK Belkin, Griffin, whoever. Build me one. It should sell for no more than $149, and have an empty drive bay, 2 if possible.

Area 51
Thanks so much. I've always wondered if there was a reason bands marched that way, or if it was just a traditional thing. Seems so clear now...

(Score:-1, Redundant)
Get a shave and a haircut, buddy. It 2005 already.
$50-60 per DVD on their hardware. And obviously, there's a market where people don't want to assemble and debug their entertainment center themselves.
Gosh, I wonder why there's a spike in todays graph?
It appears their sister site is down as well. :(

All you'd have to do is put a towing company logo
Just steal a real damn towtruck.
He's a constant train wreck that people can't stop looking at, and great at generating ad revenue.
Hence the reason I keep my Gateway PPro200 (overclocked to 233!). It's huge. It must be powerful
And for all those that didn't notice, the Mac Mini does not come with a single-button mouse.

Before WiMax comes out, will there be any faster WiFi speeds released, other than the channel sharing ones out now?
If they can break Warp 10, they can beat WiMax.
According to the apple store website, OSX, iLife, AW6, Quicken come to $356. Throw in another $45 for the two games.
98 bucks for the hardware.
Now, build me a comparible machine.
Well, duh, it has a parallel port.
