    The tags will be read by your "Rosie" model robot, that way she will know what load get what clothes.

    If don't rely on their included servers... you can do your development on the Basic WS version for $179.00 a box.

    As explained to me by RedHat, the only difference between ES and WS is the server software in the install.

    I would venture to guess that they "reviewed" the WS version...

    RedHat has 3 versions of Enterprise:
    AS == Advanced Server
    ES == Enterprise Server
    WS == WorkStation

    that I need to update the frimware on my router this weekend if I hadn't seen this article on /. How often do you check for new firmware for your home router?

    I can also tell you that I haven't registered my router with Netgear as the only reason I would need to register it is to get support, and if you have ever talked to Netgear support, you are laughing right now ;-)

    I have not spent a lot of time messing with the streaming, but I have gotten it to work with some files.

    On the server:
    vlc /path/to/your/movies/movie.mpeg --sout udp://machine_name or ipaddress

    On the client:
    launch VLC
    File->Open Network Stream
    Select UDP/RTP, leave port default (1234)

    You would be correct based on the information provided to you by the editors.

    But in reality, the Player is Adware supported, not the codecs.

    I went and played around with MPlayer OS X, it seems to do a quality job. I will reserve judgment until I can give it some more time.

    I used to have issues with my Vonage service until I got a decent ISP, packet loss really messes up VoIP.

    You can also adjust your connection, if you have bandwidth issues.

    Personally, I highly recomend this service to anyone that burns a lot of long distance minutes.

    If you want to find good prices on tech books try Bookpool or All Book Stores.

    BTW bookpool is $6.04 cheaper than your beloved amazon.

    If you really want to save some money on your phone bills and you make a lot of long distance calls, I highly recommend looking at Vonage.

    Why would you pay $129.00 for a phone that can only call other SIP phones from when you can go to Vonage and signup, they send you an ATA186 that you plug into your router and ANY phone and you can call anybody you want. I do recommend using a newer phone, old junkers seem to have problems.

    I have had a Vonage account for over a year and the only time I had problems was when I had Adelphia as a provider.

    Latency is fine the only thing that I have seen affect QOS is bad upload speeds.

    Highly recommended, and no I don't get kick backs.

    Do you really think ANY business runs at a 10% markup?? Even a 10% margin is a losing proposition.

    The vast majority of business runs around a 75% markup.

    I would venture to guess that penis enlargement pills are 100% markup or higher. If they are selling at $10 per they are probably getting stock between $3 and $5.

    I wasn't only suggesting Bookpool because of price. I would rather deal with a small company if given the choice. I'm not really fond of Amazon or Buy.com. I have had good experiences with Bookpool.

    BTW: Bookpool was still cheaper than everybody on the list from allbookstores.com.
