    Go check out the TVs on display at a "real" home theater store, find one you like, and if their price is unacceptable, write down the model number and buy it on line or at another store.

    Spamhaus are the good guys. They run a real time blacklist to help fight spam.

    It is at least so far detected by Symantec security software as of today.

    They detected it as Trojan.Mdropper.H

    In my opinion (I know you didn't ask me but...), Opera is the best browser on the market currently. This is of course a personal opinion.

    That said, on the mac, Opera isn't so hot. Stick with Firefox, Safari, or Camino.

    Opera on the mac is very much like Opera on Windows, which is a problem.

    Aside from the look and feel of the program not matching well with OS X, small things like the close button for tabs being on the right side of the tab as opposed to the left make using Opera on OS X a confusing experience to a native OS X user.

    Thats just one example.

    On Windows and Linux, it is my favorite browser. Since I've become comfortable with it, I use it on OS X too, though if OS X is what your most familear with, I personaly recomend Camino or Safari.

    Nintendo just announced the name of this potentially revolutionary console (pun intended) is "small urinating penis"

    This is, without question, the worst case I have ever seen of clueless marketing trying to be clever and plowing over the integrity of the product they were assigned to.

    The parent poster is correct that there is some interference from the DS that can cause a barley decernable replica of it's image to be displayed on a TV.

    I doubt though, that this is the same technique used at Expos since there are usualy many of these units placed next to eachother and I've not seen them interfere with eachother.

    I saw watched in operation at Penny Arcade Expo myself and the image was very crip.

    I'm not sure if it's 100% related, but since that particular law was passed in Oregon, car theft in Oregon has risin tremendously.

    The problem I see is, and I don't have any links to back this up... ... I've read that the problem is the EU is failing to disclose specifics on EXACTLY what kind of documentation is acceptable.

    Microsoft gets a cut of Xbox live content sales, right? What if by forcing developers to limit what they can put in a game when it ships, they increase the probability of more content being available later over Live? Nah that would be ridiculous ;)

    Your right in that once a system is pwned, it's very difficult to clean it without a reinstall of the OS... ... But think about it for a minute. What if you could, say, BLOCK the virus from ever being installed in the first place? System not pwned, anti virus did its job.

    I don't have the bulletin at home and I'm not at work or I'd post a link but this isn't as bad as it sounds. The virus definitions as of 12/20 detect the malformed RAR files as a heuristics detection so as long as your definitions are 12/20 or newer, you should be mostly safe.
