    They seem to have a bigger problem: The only sales point they're making is that they use less electricity than the competition. Since when has that meant anything to institutional (or home) purchasers?

    If the Bush Administration cancelled the space shuttle program, they'd do it by passing a "Space Access Freedom Act". Except it would be better named, and would work out to an acronym of SUPER or SPACETACULAR or STARS or something like that.

    Definitely old news, the legs on RHex have evolved a long way from the 'bar' style shown on the article photo.

    The new, new, new design is now a semicircular length of rubber-treaded fibreglass, which means they have spring to them. In fact when one leg finally snaps they have to replace all six as the robot depends on them to be balanced in stiffness.

    Using these legs they get some great dynamic stability as shown in 'turbo mode' and other showoff moves plus pronking, etc.


    The coolest are the round legs with the adjustable radius - stand up, sit down, roll, jump...

    So go buy one! Or go buy the iMP-250, 350, 550, etc. etc. which all support Ogg Vorbis (even the old iMP-250 aka Rio Volt 2) through firmware updates...

    Oh, just remembered, they do IMAP at the free account level, and even POP if you sign up.

    Who needs 1GB of storage when you can fetch your mail locally with one mousedrag in your favorite mail client?
