Support plans might be nice? I don't know if you've had any experience from Dell, but unless your school has a few teachers from Bangalore India, I don't think you'll love the support options. For those of you that get frustrated with waiting for a half hour to talk to some grabass from India that wants you to reformat your computer, here's a few catch phrases you can study up on while you wait.
chuutya = asshole
tum chuutya ho = you're an asshole.
gaand = ass
hijda = transvestite
kuttiya = bitch
lund = dick
lund choos = suck my dick
Have fun, and keep it safe!:)
My local Telco, which is owned by the Power Co-Op in town, is setting up a complete WiMax VoIP setup in our small town (less than 1000) to test scalability and reliability, then expand to the surrounding bigger cities. I have briefly talked with their CEO a few times, and they seem to be on schedule to be fully implemented by the end of July. And btw, there are no WiMax products on the CONSUMER market, but many OEMs are pumping them out this year, for situations just like this.
Honestly folks, out of all of us nerdy caffeine freaks, who hasn't tried the suculant taste of Bawls energy drink? I have sampled all of the major drinks on the market, and Bawls ranks in the top three on Taste, Power, and Look (Come on, the bottle is awesome). Do they not sell this stuff in New York? It would have been the one of the top three I'm sure.
My boss was looking at Laser cutting machines today (he's an engraver on the side), and I told him to check out the VersaLaser that they gave away for the Screen Savers Case Mod Contest. Well, when I was searching TechTV, I stumbled accross a video of this beast. So I tracked down the website and was showing it to my boss for about a half hour. Needless to say, I come back 4 hours later and find the darn thing on the front page of Slashdot!
I'm glad I got to look while it was still up.:-)
They want to invent the "Phantom Lawsuit" as well. I for one think SCO has already invented this, and will soon claim copyright to it. So Infinium Labs will lose their $25 million in capital paying off licesing fees.
Darn, I was really looking forward to that amazing Phantom too........
already been done.

A kid at our gaming center brought one in and gave it to me, said it made his hand too tired. And he's right, you never realize the benifit of resting your hand on the ol mousepad until it's gone.:-/ Anyway, it's kinda fun playing solitaire and freecell with it. heh
You'd think they'd find a replacement for their funds creation.......given the fact that they've promised many projects alot of money and have never come through with it.

Has nothing to do with it. What it has to do with is idiot people clicking "Yes" on the installation of an ActiveX control that installs spyware on their system. I'd say that's still the easiest way to get a virus installed on a windows box, end users always click yes.:)
Now I have something to use to build my Linux-Powered Toaster I've always wanted!
Me and a classmate got into an argument about Linux and he finally yelled out, "yeah, but can it make toast?" So there you have it folks, get to work on your prototypes.;)
Perhaps they were looking for a cheap computer at walmart.com and found a lindows machine? Remember, there ARE computers that come with linux pre-installed.;)
look, it's not me that doesn't like choice, personally, I love all the choices. But Linux needs to steer away from being "the nerd OS" to being something my grandma can use. She gets confused with the two buttons on the front of her machine, who knows what 9 choices of desktop would do to her.
I can't wait for this to happen, I'm tired of there being so many desktops in linux. You can argue all you want about "it offers better choices for people." But the truth is, people don't want to choose, they want you to choose for them. Once they learn your system, then they can go in and tweak it for themselves.....I've always seen this as a drawback for Desktop Linux, some programs work in one window maker, others work in another. It's too hard for the average user.
My mom got me some fancy Lifestyles condoms..... given the fact that I"m only 19 and have never mentioned sex to her, it's kinda odd she would get me something like this. I just hope she didn't find some used wrapper somewhere in my old bedroom!
AT&T is a phone company. It is my understanding that phone companies are EXCLUDED from the DNC list. That means even if you're on it, phone companies can still call you.
hahaha, man, I still play that game to this day! What a classic. *opens Apple IIe emulator* "ahhhh"

I was thinking the same damn thing. It makes me feel a little sick and dirty that there aren't 100 posts just like this.
They've had wood cases and other exotic designs for a long long time now. Their prices are pretty decent as well.
Too bad it's an 8.6 meg download nowadays. Shit, for people with dial-up (me most of the time) it's a nightmare to install the latest quicktime.
Now there's a site I actually don't feel sorry for for getting slashdotted. ;)

Why not just illegally trade the "old format" mp3s then? Or am I missing the totally obvious?

Something else to add to my ebay shopping list! Along with my Traffic Light Changer, I'm gonna be all set.

Alright, First post.......don't have anything else to say besides that. heh
