Apparently they have never heard of Java Native Packaging? With JavaFX you can skin your app any way you like with CSS. With the module system and jlink you can create small runtime packages. What's the problem?

JavaFX is turning out to be a really nice solution now with the module system. You can build cross platform applications with native installers with much a smaller JVM. And you can use real languages like Java, Scala, Kotin etc...

Sorry Quantum Field Theory is hard... It gets worse. Universities emphasize retardo courses like gender studies, intersectionality, postmodernism, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.. It gets worse. Kids get saddled with 50000 of debt and useless degrees living at home with mommy and daddy into their 30's. It gets worse. Now we have a situation where universities can charge whatever they want for tuition fees. 200+% over CPI. It gets worse. Because courses get dumbed down Industry has trouble finding good candidates and therefore look outside. > 50% PHDs are H1B visas.
Solution: Kill the student loan programs. Whoops not so easy when the Banks, Government and University Administrations all support it.
