I'm not sure this is entirely accurate. That main convergence between RHEL and other distros is that RHEL is NOT designed as an all in one system - desktop, media center, internet, etc. It's designed around, as you said, enterprise use. You have server, adminsistration, and development workstation setups, but it is in no way designed to be a standard desktop replacement the way Ubuntu and similar distros are.
The article is by the Sun. It was worthless to begin with. I would not be surprised if the entire article was fabricated or severely stretching the facts.
I really wish I hadn't already used all of my mod points. This post is not a troll. There are some flamebait-ish qualities to that, but they're paired with some very valid points.
I agree that it may be too soon. But he has made some good changes so far. He's introduced a radical shift in US policy, going from a big stick diplomacy to one based on respect (even if the opposing country does not deserve it).
I don't like how he's handled everything, but as far as his international relations policy goes, I'm rather happy.
I don't know anything about their deployment procedure, but here at Virginia Tech the Math Emporium has over 500 macs set up for student access. The courses I've had there have been boring, but the actual setup of the place is pretty neat.
Indeed. Now if they could only make this work for humans. One of my X chromosomes has been missing a leg for as long as I can remember. Here's to hoping this research can fix it.:)
...fast paced game players don't have the tolerance of players who are into mmo's exclusively.
This. You can't know where you're going if you don't know where you've been, and I think Blizzard has forgotten that. I don't think they realize they're not making an infinitely upgradable game for people with no lives. They're making a RTS that will have a few patches and maps added for people who just want to pick up and play the game without wading through bullshit.
I think the 'younger' portion of your statement should have been bolded for emphasis. A large part of the problem is that for the most part, all three of our branches of government are filled with 40+ folks, a large portion of which simply don't understand current technologies and how they've changed the game. They understand only the spin that the lobbyists have memorized, and you can imagine where that comes from.
Even if public outrage is evident, I think we're going to see any significant and positive changes until today's 20-30 generation are the ones in office and sitting on the judicial bench.

That used to be true, but it's not any longer. There are videos on Youtube of 5-6 year old children playing the game with ease.
Microsoft has finally give us some cheese for our wine is not an emulator is not an emulator is not an emulator is not ...

TFA was really sparse on details. It didn't even say what kind of super powers it would give us if we came in contact with it.
I can vouch for this. I have an HP 940C that I've had for over eight years, and it's still going strong.
Mod parent up! (sid?dimethylxanthine-940&plagincid?49052)
Last time I checked, Chatroulette wasn't plagued by a horde of women flashing their genitalia on camera.
I'm looking at the page right now. It still appears to be available?
If the person you copied it from also mistakenly used an assignment operator instead of a conditional, then yes. :)
Probably about as long as it took you to type that po--oh, wait. Yep, there it is.

+1 Interesting.

I'm tempted to classify this as a slashvertisement. I'm currently a major university and I've yet to see anyone with a netbook in any of my classes.
Do you get extra credit if it's a first post?
I'm waiting for the follow-up article, 'Five Technologies Iranian Citizens are Using to Bypass the Censors.'
It should probably be noted that the studio in question is Time Warner Inc. I'm not sure why that piece of info wasn't in TFS.
That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'Spanking the monkey.'

GG, Blizz.

That guy was a complete and total tard. Somebody really, really needs to beat his ass down.
Is there any chance that MediaSentry's practices are a violation of some provision within the DMCA?
It's farked up CSS, as another user already mentioned. Adding this to my adblock list fixed it for me, though:

Adblock. De-borking the internet so lazy admins don't have to.
