I feel the same way. The scripting language sucked, support for other media too. Even the D20 engine was broken (trap detection, pick locking, etc). The campaign story felt too much like "go fetch" (compared to, lets say, KOtoR, that was more smooth). Oh, and the TONS of bugs that it shipped with that made DM almost unplayable. I was very dissapointed, I was hoping more from the guys that created Baldur's Gate.

I don't quite see the obession with finding life on Mars.Because by finding life somewhere else we can learn a lot about life on earth.

What is life? Really? You will find many people with slightly different definitions just on life on Earth.

What about other planets? What if life in mars, the DNA strand twists the other way? Or what if there is no DNA. If the DNA is the same, then, maybe life in Mars and Earth have a common origin. If not, what common things do we see? What is the minimum requirement for life? And these are just a few questions I can speculate on. I think we can lear about ourselves, and the fundamentals of life on Earth by finding life somewhere else.

And that is all without any religious (or anti-religious) agenda.

It is getting more and more difficult for 419spammers to make money. Why? Because of the many people that are responding to them just to make fun of them (as reported many times before in /.). I've done it, and collected some funny pictures too, and then moved on. Some of my friends are still in the hobby of making fun of them, and they tell me it is getting increasingly harder to get any pictures from them.

It seems to me that the traffic of people making fun of them (baiters) is very high compared to the dumb people falling for the scam.

In fact, I've been following my friend's baits, and the scammers seem desperate, unwilling to cooperate if you ask for a picture of them or any other information. Contrast this with many months ago where they would take any pictures that you asked them.

Since most of the baiters play along with the scammers story to ridiculize them, the scammers are getting desperate and started to use this new scheme. It is hard to play along with a death threat, compared to, a petition of money for a church in nigeria.

The "Three Laws Safe" idea is crap.

It is not about programming the rules, Asimov's short stories are about studying the consequences of these ethical rules. Ethical rules are commonly studied based con case studies, real of fictional. If you think the idea is about implementing the rules, you are totally missing the point.
