Actually, any private health or life insurance company does this already. Insurance is based on risks. You choose the risks. Why should the "Free" coverage from any Government isolate you, me or anyone from risks? In a more perfect Government there would be a very very limited medicaid system at the Government level. But it will take a long time to get there with so many people screaming for more "Free" stuff from Government,

However, I also believe that it's a lie that smoking and being overweight are the causes of rising health care costs. Typically unhealthy people die sooner in life. The costs of so called healthy living people are sky rocketing as they keep aging and slowly watch their health fail needing more and more life prolonging health care. This is an observation based on my own extended family. The so-called healthy ones lived longer, needed nursing homes and advanced health care for a much longer time than those that lived the "unhealthy" life. Those family members typically just died suddenly and did not have the need to all these life prolonging health services.

We all die. That is the first fact of being born. I plan to enjoy that life fully even if others claim it's not healthy. It's not as if there's a chance I'll never die.

And proof of this are the so called Hate Speech laws, no wait those were not thrown out as unconstitutional

Laws that restrict Religious freedom have been thrown out? Oops, wrong again.

Laws requiring permits for the people to peaceable assemble have been tossed out. Hmm.. nope those are still in place.

About the only part of the First Amendment that is still in tact is the Freedom of the Press, but they've been bought and paid for in most part by the DNC PR department.

The Second Amendment has been under constant assault and now since the latest ruling by the SCOTUS the Government is now trying to eliminate the production of ammunition. The new Inter-America http://www.oas.org/juridico/english/treaties/a-63.html treaty Obama is looking at would ban all illicit ammunition production. Illicit is defined as anyone that makes or reloads their own ammo. Hunters do this all the time. So the back door to banning guns is now banning ammo.

I can see how my blog could be considered a weapon as I repeatedly criticize the Federal, Sate and local Governments. Based on the latest DHS report my blog is extreme and could be considered 'sever' or 'hostile' since I repeatedly call for limited Federal Government and lower Federal Taxes. Since the DHS can classify anyone that supports the 10th Amendment as a Right Wing Extremist and a possible terrorist threat they can claim anything meets the criteria for the 'blog as a weapon'.

Then do you remember how many of them turned out to be illegal aliens? And all the screaming the Unions did when we tried to keep the illegals from having TSA jobs? If Apple's deal with AT&T is illegal then every phone contract with every phone provider is illegal. Blackberry anyone? Or how about NextTel when those first came out. Every cell phone requires a service provider. My AT&T phone (Samsung, not an iPhone) will not work with other cell providers. Do I get to sue Samsung? No. So Samsung has chosen to make separate phones that will work with each cell provider. Apple has chosen to limit their customer base by not doing so. Is it criminal? No, poor marketing for sure. But it only hurts Apple. You as the end purchaser/user have the ultimate choice of NOT buying a product. It's YOUR choice to buy an iPhone knowing that it will only work with one provider. You choose to buy or not to buy. No one forced you to buy an iPhone.

Grow up people. Companies are here to make products people want and to make a profit doing so. Then they pay their employees and share holders. Nothing Steve Jobs is doing is beyond that and especially not criminally beyond that.
