I am not the grandparent poster but I have a Kyocera 7135, travel extensivly across the US and the 3G service seems to work just about everywhere. The latency is kind of a pain, but it's still very usable. It's much better than an analog dialup line anyway. My carrier is Verizon.
I have the new 7135 with the color screen that I use to read AvantGo and pdfs on my weekly flights. Excellent screen, except the resolution is not quite as good as I would like, but it's still very readable. Also the battery will usually last for at least a day depending on how much you use the phone, and that is even with reading constantly for 4-5 hr flights. The hard part is convincing the flight attendants that the phone really is off and that I'm not a terrorist. I guess I should put "Not a terrorist" in the banner display of the phone.
"Always carry a book with you, because you never know when you might be arrested." -- Emma Goldman
On a side note, I have been arrested before and they took my phone away, so it doesn't do me much good in this case.
Some people are deathly alergic to certian types of nuts (usually peanuts) and even the smallest amount of nuts can kill them if they don't have their antidote handy. I have been on flights before where they were not allowed to serve peanuts because there was someone on the flight that was alergic.
Why? Most never banned floppy drives. Also, with almost any computer having internet access, you could just as easily hotmail yourself any document you want.
Hey!, by the time you add the extra battery, external HDs, keychain USB drives, digital camera, iPod, bose headphones, bag, DC/AC power supplies, voltage converters. I've got mine to 23.4lbs in the bag! Beat That!
I doubt this would be a good idea because of the risk that space is not always a consistant vacuum. If some whif of atmosphere from the earth came by, you would ruin your electronics. Plus, the electronics would need to be shielded with a radation hardened material in the first place, otherwise they would get zapped pretty quickly.
How is this a Y2K-like bug? This seems more like a date calculation bug. Before you flame, I understand that Y2K bugs were date realted also, but this is not related to the end of a millennium, more like the calculation of a leap year.

ROI = return on investment
Um no, typical broken window fallacy...
Good luck if you ever try to take it on a plane....

BTW, does anyone else think the SCO logo there looks like a big red beachball with Mickey Mouse's head on the side???
Thats what I always thought it was and I was wondering what that had to do with SCO....
How about an explination for us americans?
HA! I intake mostly nitrogen!

Well, word perfect (the whole WP Office Suite acutally) was once owned by Novell.
HA! I couldn't even understand the summary....
Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning system.
Because it will enhance the decor of the room when off. Also, mirrors tend to make a room look bigger and brighter.

Just curious, what finger do you use to ring a doorbell. I have always used my thumb....
Where are you going to get the proprietary connectors? There's more to a cable than just wires.
I would think they would increase the amount of ram on board to compensate for this. Swaping from the HD is pretty slow anyway.
So what did you order?
Top x reasons you've been coding to much:

+1 Scary.....
Other than looking like C3P0 and R2D2's bastard child, what exactly are these for?
