Seriously, what is this hardon everyone has for "XP still selling strong"?? The new OS is now accounting for 78% of OS sales, that's pretty damn good! Not everyone is going to immediately jump ship for a new OS. But instead, XP sales are adjusted from 15% to 22%, and it's "an increase of nearly 50%". And yes, that is technically correct (the best kind of correct), but still completely undermines the reality that Vista accounts for 4 out of every 5 OS sales for MS.

I also support chopping the wangs off of men who violently rape women (but actual, grab-them rape, not 17 year olds getting a blowjob from a 16 year old).
Both serve a good purpose. You do activity X, you suffer a severe penalty. I would predict a huge reduction in those two crimes if we'd implement those.

So, to appease those who would protect our values by not letting us run over people in a video game, they changed it so all the pedestrians became zombies, and their blood splatter was now green.

I've been a trackball lover for many years tho. They're better for your wrist, easier to use, take less space, and are more versatile. Unfortunately, so many people come in, look at it, and don't understand how it works. I had one person turn it upside down and try using it that way. The majority of mainstream computer users are still idiots, so unfortunately anything different confuses them.

That said, the one area they fall down in for me is drawing and graphics. A tablet or a regular mouse is a lot easier to use for things like drawing on a picture or writing on someones Grafitti wall.

Seasons 1-2 were fairly good for what they were, decent kid/teen animated series. Some of them stood out, most didn't, but almost all were entertaining.
But Season 3 was da bomb. Dark, desperate storylines. Excellent writing. Character development for almost everyone, every episode. Storylines popping up, fading away, and coming back again. Characters that you worried about because they really felt disposable, that they could die any episode. I was supremely disappointed to see it end after that season. It was better written and more interesting than most series on TV. The only good thing was that it spawned Shadow Raiders, which was also an excellent series, though short-lived.
I kinda liked (Season 4)/(The mini-movie), but I've always been hooked on the elements of Season 3. Although I can see why they'd like to restart the series, in a way I wish they'd just continue with the storyline in a way that new viewers could pick up on. Either way, I'll be a definite viewer.

I'm sure with all the money you save by filling up once every month or two (since cars are great for grocery runs), you could get some pitstick to take with you if the odour is that bad. A car that does 13km round trips is great for winter, but useless in summer when it's no problem to bike.
Funny you should say that. It hit about 35C outside today in the sun. Been like that all month. In a few months it'll be below 0 for 5-6 months. Surrounding that 5-6 month period will be a month bookend of slush, muck, and mud. That gives me basically a 4-6 week window in the spring and fall that I could reliably bike it, excepting freak weather (which we get up here all the time. I've seen green grass at christmas, and snow in June). Oh, and here's hoping I don't get caught on the way home in one of our violent rainstorms that like to spring out of nowhere a few times per season.

I'd love to bike and get even more exercise. But it's just not in the books as a regular activity, based on weather, not even examining whiny cow-irkers. Maybe if I switch to an industrial job, and have someone who can give me a lift home if the weather turns... then I'd be quite happy to. Until then, I just don't see it happening.

Unfortunately, it's not a question of shape, it's a matter of (a)lack of nearby shower facilites, and (b) 35C+ weather. And yes, I'm sure after a month or two I'd barely even be breathing hard. Unfortunately the whining would start far before that.
