*Dilbert walks into his cubicle, presses button on his answering machine*
Machine: You have 2,804 messages. 2,804 are marked "urgent". First urgent message: *beep*
Todd: Hey Dilbert, this is Todd. I just called you to tell you that I sent you an email. Okay, bye.

Machine: Messages deleted.
Futurama was cancelled after 4 seasons actually. The show ran 5 "seasons" because FOX kept screwing Futurama over (placing it RIGHT after sports events for one), and they had nearly a whole season worth of episodes left over by the time "season" 4 ended.
Are you sure they'd let you do that? It's pretty obvious that the 30" display isn't for the mini, simply for the fact that the mini doesn't have enough power to use the display.
etree.org is like EZtree, except that etree is completely legal. Unfortunately because of this, you won't find very many artists, but there are a few big names. Specifically Phish, the Grateful Dead, Primus, Ben Folds, 311, the Spin Doctors, Jack Johnson, and others.
But adding their DRM to it made it a proprietary version of AAC. They chose to let iTunes and iPod play it. You'll notice that other players are free to add AAC support (and a few do), but iTunes-bought songs won't work with them.
Really? I've always heard it was because the Star Trek movie at the time was going to be called Vengeance of Kahn, and Lucas didn't want any confusion.
Heh. I remember when I bought my iPod it advertised being able to hold 1000 songs. It was 5 gigs. Then generations of the iPod went on, and the 5 gig wasn't being sold anymore. Later, they released the 4 gig iPod mini, which holds *gasp* the same 1000 songs. Now, I see that this 3 gig device holds 1000 songs. Measurements like this are completely useless, because they can be stretched to do anything. Hell, I'm sure this phone could hold tens of thousands of songs, if you define a song as "midi ringtone".
Also, an afterthought. My iPod has 300 kb free, and is currently holding around 800 songs. I guess 160 Kb/s is too much for Apple. Also probably because I have a thing for live songs, and a lot of these tend to be more than 8 minutes.
So (one of) your problems with the iTunes Music Store is that it doesn't give very much money to the artists. Your solution to this is to get it illegally without paying them anything? That's your compassion? If you want to screw artists and labels over, then by all means screw them over. Just don't lie about it to yourself.
Why not go out and support indie labels and the bands they have? Bands like The Shins, The Postal Service, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, Porcupine Tree, and Iron & Wine are all more than deserving of your dollar.
P.S. Downhill Battle encourages piracy. They care nothing about the artists, and seemingly, neither do you.
That's because the RIAA gets revenue if you steal it from a store. If you go to your local strawberries and steal the last London Calling, they're going to have to buy more. To the RIAA, it's indistinguishable from a normal sale. The only one who gets screwed in that case is the insurance company.
The original was 100 million caps. That's 100 million free songs. If I remember correctly, a little over 5 million redeemed their free songs. I can't find a link to verify that, but I know Pepsi's original prediction was 10-20%.
A lot of people won't even know they're getting a free song. They'll just not think about it and throw it away.

It's not available today...

That's why there are 4 volumes for sale on DVD.
The satellite view of the world from far away has been available since Google added satellite. Nothing new here, I'm afraid.

On Slashdot, you can blame my meme on Slashdot.
In the post-9/11 world, you can blame your stupidity on living in the post-9/11 world.

I think it would be more amusing if it was Trey Anastasio or Mike Gordon.

At first, I thought this was horrible.
But now, I can't wait for that list to leak.

Remember kids, stealing music helps the artists!
Go to your local blockbuster, and rent/rip some good silent era public domain films.
This world needs more Charlie Chaplin.
Superman must be shaking in his boots right about now.
When will we learn that all humans are equally inferior to robots?
