What are you talking about? Does that mean that if somebody does something illegal on windows that makes windows illegal too? That logic just does not hold any water.
The problem is that when we start trusting the government like that they can take it to far and then we are screwed. It may well be that they had a legitamate reason to want to see the logs but we can't trust that that is always the case. As for wget, I use it all the time to download things onto my shells.
For 1, it doesn't matter if what is typed is later relayed by the computer out of state. All the key logger is doing is recording the signal from the keyboard to the computer. For 2 my guess would be that technically if the data never left the state, meaning it didn't through any routers outside of the state, on its way to the destination, then it would be legal under the wiretap act.
There's some stupid song about it. Every time somebody brings up irony around me somebody else mentions the false rain on your wedding day example. It makes me sick.
Its not the FTP it self that is secure. It is the limiting of who has access by IP and Identd. Also nobody can get added without knowing the right people, and having them be willing to get you added, which isn't as easy as it sounds. Some of the servers also use encryption, though admittedly, thats worthless for FXP, which is what the vast majority of transfers are. Its not a perfectly secure system but its not something Valve could easily release something in to. If they somehow broke in, and put the release on the server, the group that it was supposed to have come from would quickly deny releasing it, and it would be nuked, and thus disapear before reaching the masses.
Yeah, until the patches are released through the usual warez channels too. Don't kid yourself into thinking you are getting anything more because you are paying. Doing it for moral reasons is one thing, but this propoganda is bullshit.
I find the whole thing highly unlikely. Warez isn't released on bit torrent. It gets released on 100-1000mbit highly secure and secret ftp servers. Any release group with the ability to release things onto those servers is going to have a source that is not tainted. If it is tainted they likely will find out because they crack the games, and probobly packet sniff to see what, if anything, is being sent back to valve. Only after a game goes through this process does it filter down to bit torrent.
Propoganda doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. Usually it is but in this situation obviously not. As far as bad guys go, I don't see why there can't be problems with both sides. It reminds me of a conversation I had with someone about the Israel-palstine situation just today. I was arguing that both sides were at fault for the situation and it would take both sides to stop it. My friend just couldn't seem to grasp that it could be more than one side's fault.
Good thing there isn't a chance in hell that the democrats wouldn't filibuster that nomination for all eternity.

Halo 2 Reviews

I think they went too far the other way this time. The levels are so huge and complex that on several occations I was completly lost for 20 minutes or more.
I was listening to a Terry Riley recording called Across the Lake of the Ancient Word. Now Terry Riley is an amazing minimalist composer and keyboardist who incorporate the music theory of the great sitar players of India into his music, but they sound nothing alike. He just has a way of expanding your consciousness like great sitar does. So I was listening to this recording with big headphones on, and I was listening really loudly. This is pretty soft music normally so this was a different experience. I was on my bed, staring up at the ceiling listening to this music and I started getting really paranoid. I'm not really sure about what, maybe that somebody would walk in the door but I don't know why I would be worried about that, I wasn't on any drugs of any kind. I was just generally really freaked out. It was like I was overloaded by the music, because it was so loud and I was so engulfed by it because of the headphones. It had a feeling like the paranoia that comes from weed sometimes. I had to stop listening because it was so scary.
You can not remove things from the universe. Any one thing necessitates the existence of everything else. I look at the black bored. If it wasn't there all the information about it would still exist in the universe. If it was removed, its reflection would still exist on my eyes. Conversely, if everything in the universe was removed except the black board, the changing state of it would give all of the information about the rest of the universe. They imply each other. This is true of anything in the universe. If one little thing was removed, the universe as we know it could not exist.
In fact I believe it does. When I downloaded it, there was a dashboard update file on the cd. luckily the DVD5 patch I got to convert it (it was released as DVD9) took that out. Guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway I have a mod chip.
I tend to agree with you. If you play it more though you will get to play as the covanent, and eventually fight on the same side as the humans as the covanent. But its true that the gameplay hasn't changed all that much.
Yeah, I meam how long will it take to beat halo 2? 24 hours? I have played it and the levels are big so maybe a while but still...one could just buy like say...1/2 OZ of mushrooms and have alot more fun and money to spare.
This more votes than any other canidate in history thing is meaningless. The population has increased over the course of the history of our nation. Percentages are what matter and 51% is certainly not the highest in history.
Heh, I'm flattered but I don't know that I necessarily am any wiser than you as far as philosophy goes. These are my opinions from my observations and reading but I don't know that they are any more valid than your observations. I'm just a 16 year old kid interested in what this whole universe thing is about.

I don't see how you can determine whether somebody is in a state without also having the ability to track hir movements.

For quoting Suzuki you make my friends list.

However, if the are just basing the browser on firefox, why wouldn't I just get the original firefox?
Read the constitution huh? Yeah Ashcroft must have done that, that must be why he likes to disregaurd large portions of the bill of rights.

This is hilarious because I've been playing the game every weekened with my friends for the past 3 weeks. Gotta love mod chips and the internet.
