But, on the mac it takes next to no CPU time. This is just a problem on the Windows version. So what? You have plenty of choices, and as you said, they work with iTunes. You don't have to use it. Some people decide to use it despite it's speed because the UI is just that great. I think that says a lot about Apple's design.
What you might be looking for is something like SideTrack, which allows you to use the trackpad tap as a ctrl+click, or many other things. It also lets you use the side of the trackpad as a scroll wheel for both horizontal and vertical.
I think he was comparing how much more efficient it was than older motors, not how efficient it is in total.

They did make this once, it was called the cube, and it was a complete failure. It didn't have much in the way of expandability, but it was completely silent, and it looked very nifty. Unfortunately, it didn't sell very well.
They do have cards that can upgrade a cube to an 800Mhz G4, but you're still going to be hampered by the rest of the hardware. It runs OS X just fine though.
Apple probably won't make something like it for a long long time.
It's there because it's verifying the cartridge. If you've ever used a classic gameboy, very often the little Nintendo logo at the botton would be messed up in some way or another. That logo is read from the cart, and it's to make sure that you inserted it correctly. Remember blowing the dust out? That's why it's there. It's like a little power on self check for the GB.
I hate to burst your bubble, but iPod's have _always_ come with white headphones I have a first gen 5GB iPod bought only a month after they came out, and it came with white headphones.
Actually, the AMD chip is only in the Graphite base station, and it's a 486 clone hooked up to a standard Lucent WaveLAN Silver PCMCIA card. The extreme uses no such AMD chip.;)
Whenever I would play Road Rash 2 in split screen mode, the Genesis was noticeably slower. I was always disappointed with this, shame I don't have it anymore.
One file will be names ROTK-Extended-Edition and another with the same MD5 sum will be some porno name, it's absurdly obvious.
And other times you can tell just because of the file size. I've seen GTA3, in only 12k!
A good tool is ShareReactor Fakecheck for those truly tricky files. Help them out, report fake ed2k links. I know I do all the time, mlnet even has a handy little link that does it automatically for you in the web interface.

They must have been running the server from that SE.
I don't see what's so special, it's just like taking the tour inside NASA.
You're forgetting to take into account the difference in DPI between a macintosh and a PC. Seriously, check it out.
Look at 1024x768 on a mac, then on a PC. You'll notice that it feels like you've got a lot more room on the mac for some reason.

No conspiracy here.
They have done this, it's called Zelda: Four Swords.
I also think you can hook it up to the GCN with Wind Waker and play the original Zelda for NES, similar to the metroid Fusion/Prime hookup.
Can anyone else see a little blue glowing man inside of the server pushing a giant wheel while being whipped by one of those red guards?
Maybe I've just seen the movie too much.
It's a shame their server wasn't as fast as that motorocycle.
Anyone got a mirror?
They seem to have left out the part about Motorola totally giving up on PPC advancement, seriously hurting apple.

I'm talkie toaster, you're chirpy breakfast companion.
Unfortunately, you don't have humor circuits.
I've been doing this for years. One hand on my mouse, and the other on my...nevermind.
I'm pretty sure that they already have this, named PCI-X.
It is PCI Express which I assume you're referring to, a quick google search confirms this.

It was not the Bush administration, in fact, I'm not even sure Bush knows what Microsoft makes, nor the issues.
It's good to know that European courts aren't as flawed as our American ones.
It almost restores your faith in humanity. Almost.
Mod me down for being incorrect, but the music used in the trailer is EXACTLY the same music used for the opening of Stargate SG-1. Exactly.
I even went to my TiVo to confirm this, and yes they're the same. I can't believe that they would rip it so shamelessly.
Unless China blocks them for showing anti-government material.
It's a shame he didn't overclock his server to twice it's original speed. Those 10-25MB .avi's really don't help.

Since they started MSN.
Oh, I know, it's hilarious.
