The 8G EEE has twice the RAM of the 4G model but it has the same battery and is rated for the same amount of battery life, so I don't think it makes much of a difference.

GEdit does that already, just not by default. I can't recall off the top of my head where the option is and I'm not at a Linux PC to check, but it should be fairly easy to find.
All they have to do is add an option to invert the polarity of the tetryon flow and reroute it through the main deflector dish. Then it'll be Enterprise ready.
