I recently build myself a new box with a 3000+ coupled with 1Gb Ram and a Radeon 9600 pro (i am a severe cheapskate). I am not a serious gamer and the standard performance is great and it ran HL2 flawlessly. It is truely a cheapskates delight.
What still bugs me the most about all this is that they gave it an AO rating when there are games out there such as PLayboy: The Mansion, that get an M rating...something in the rating system is broken.
What pisses me off most about the whole GTA:SA AO rating is that just because it contains ONE sex mini game they jump all over it to give it an AO rating, but the Playboy:The Mansion game is all about sex and it still got an M rating! There needs to be alot of consistancy with the ratings system before it can be taken seriouusly.
IIRC, they painted the main tanks on the first 2 shuttle launches, but it was determined that all the white paint they appied to the main tank added to much wieght to it so they went back to brown unpainted tanks.

that quote on the album came from a doorman for abbey road studios. He did a recorded interview with the band so that they could use the audio for the album.
TFA states that Voltron is made up of five smaller robots (this must be referring to the Lionbot, the Autobot had 15 vehicles; 5 land, 5 sea, and 5 air). It also states that they will be fighting against the Drule empire, but the only Voltron to fight the Drule empire was the Autobot. The Lionbot fought King Zarkon and his Robeasts. Perhaps they are just combining the two storylines, since the took place in the same era/universe.
The Autobot was constructed to fight the Drule because the Lionbot was to far away (on Arus) to defend the Galaxy Alliance from Drule.
Give it time, mine just arrived the other day. It took them so long to send them that I forgot I had ordered them, so it was a nice surprise in the mail.
I got 8 x86 disks, 1 PPC disk, and 1 AMD64 disk.
the AMD 64 was the only one I really wanted, but I was able to pass out all the others...
I do see it. Sure Parappa was a huge hit in Japan and has a small following here is the states, but I could never see him leading the Sony console line in adverts and such. I guess a mascot for the Playstation systems was never a big issue from the get go. Remember that scary Polygon Man they used when the PSX was first released. He did not last long...
And this is news? The console makers have been doing this for years. Remember when the PS2 was announced and we were told of its "Toy Story Quality Graphics Rendering"? Same thing with the infamous "Mode 7" in the Super NES system. Who can forget the So called 16 bit TurboGrafix 16? As I stated above, the console makers have hyped up every system that has ever been released and all have failed to meet the hype that preceeded them...
Acutally, you can join the USAF and they will grant you US citizenship and once your enlistment is up you will be a full fledged citizen, it is alot easier than you think and alot of people do it.
"A lot of people don't like our ads, which is sad as we don't have a rich sugar daddy like the Mozilla Foundation. They [the Mozilla Firefox team] don't have to think about money as they're being funded. We're not being funded," said von Tetzchner.
Rich Suger Daddy?!? No. Firefox users feel generous enough to donate to the foundation to help support a great FREE browser. This type of competition bashing is not good for business.
I would have to agree. Last year I finally broke down and purchased a PS2, just because I was tired of constanly trying to stay within the power curve of PC gaming. My system is by no means ancient but it still not a killer gaming PC.
I am currently running: AMD64 3000 1Gb DDR ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256Mb Appox Half a Tb of storage
$599 for a video card!?! That is just incredible! Why is it that the price of every other computer component has decreased, yet video cards prices are a mainstay?
I, for one, welcome this medium. Since I made my switch to DirecTV a few years ago the one thing I miss on cable was the public access stations, there is so much great content that can be found on PA stations.
I doubt that would happen. It is more cost efficient for tWiT to podcast because it only requires audio recording, which is less time consuming to edit than video recording. It would be nice to see systm or from the shadows utilize this medium.
If I am forced to use a public terminal I like to check the tasks that are running in the background, to see if there is anything suspicious. It has saved me a few times, of course not all kiosks will let you use that command.

Obviously you did not understand my comment completely, Playboy should have recieved an AO rating as well, due to its sex and nudity.

Aw hell I can't resist
M-M-M-MASK!!!!!
I remember owning the '57 Chevy that turned into the 6 wheeled tank. Man I miss those toys.
I still use MapQuest, simply because Google Maps has a bad habit of not being entirely accurate with addresses and directions
Power rangers are based off the old Voltron series and IIRC they were made by the same company, Saiban.

Do jedi's build their own lightsabers?
Please hand over your geek card and exit the room...

It is well and good until the arms short circuit and try to kill him...

I must ask, do you live in the south?

Hey editors, how about a NSFW warning on stories such as this!
