I still have yet to understand this. Why would anyone whant to fork out the money for an HTML book when there is so many resources on this topic online. I guess some people still prefer the good 'ol hard copy.
I agree completely. I have had this "hypothesis" for quite some time now. Throwing Moore's Lay out the window, I believe that no matter how fast the clock speeds of the new processors are there has to be a plateau for noticeable performance. Sure you can notice the difference between a 200MHz machine and a 1.5Ghz machine. The difference between a 3GHz and a 1.5GHz machine is not as noticeable, if at all. I say this because once you have reached the GHz range the processing speed is so fast that you cannot notice the difference between the 1.5GHz and the 3GHz.
I am not sure what versions of tetris everyone else is playing, but nearly every offshoot or replica of tetris I have played has shown the proceding tetris pieces before they are played.
I agree completely. I now live in South Korea and software piracy runs rampant. You can go to any electronics market and get any type of software you want. If they don't have it they say they can get it for you. They have even gone as far as to crack PS2, GameCube, and Xbox games and sell them for a just a few dollars apiece. You can get any kinnd of media for next to nothing here, it is terrible.
This does not surprise me at all. I, like many others, have been ripped off by bad auctions on the infamous eBay. Ever since they purchased PayPal I have refused to use the auction site. It is getting really rediculous. I will glady spend the extra bucks and purchase an item outright via Pricewatch or such, rather than deal with the hassels of bad auctioneers or just bad service.
I used to live in St. Louis...
I remember going to Tilt in Mid Rivers mall but I thought the whole arcade generation has died away. I move a way from St. Louis sometime ago and now live in South Korea. There are very few arcades here. With the rising cost of arcade machines it is no wonder they have died out and consoles/pc has won out. I would rather spend $50 for a pc game and relax at home with it than fork out $2 to play an arcade game for 5 minutes...
Buy a Mac...

So if Tetris is NP-Hard does that mean that Bust-A-Move is NP-Crap? It sure feels that way...
Whoa ease up there Tonto. I don't think anyone forced you to read this article did they? Lay off the Jolt Cola and get some rest.
I hate being catagorized by generations. I may as well change my name and join the collective.

Napster: The Movie?!? Just another reason for MTV not to show music videos...
