I'm still waiting on KOTOR to show up on steam. I missed it when it was new and the only way to get it now is in some bundle with 4 other games I don't care about. Seriously, it should be in the next round.
You know, I agree with you. For all the cool stuff he came up with, Neuromancer just isn't that good of a book. Its important for what it started, but there are better later examples of the cyberpunk motif.
That's very true, but this was a criminal case and not civil. The problem is that there is no good criminal charge for what happened, and many people don't see civil liability as being sufficient punishment for such an action.
That's good. Kind of sucks for people that already have a PSP, but it gives them a test platform for the PSP2 and a nice starting point for people with out a PSP already. I have to admit, if this thing was a little cheaper and able to be jailbroken, I'd be all over it. Hell, make it cheaper and I wouldn't even need to play emulators on it.
Charging blackberries from a computer usually requires that their driver be installed. I have no clue what happened to the original USB cable that came with mine and I charge it off my laptop all the time. Also, all current blackberries have either a mini- or micro- USB connector. I believe that's what the industry at large is standardizing on as well, so unless there's more wall wart lockout, not having a charger won't be a problem pretty soon.
No, Opera mini is a version of the opera web browser that uses a proxy in sweeden (right? that's where they're from) to render and compress websites then shoots it to your handheld. Not that what you're talking about doesn't also happen, all BB data goes through RIM's servers in Canada, things you view in Opera Mini go through an extra step.
That's true but this is GTA, the series that made the PS2 the juggernaut that it is. This is like saying the new Mario or Halo only sold 100K copies in 2 weeks.
Attorneys are something like 30% more likely to be alcoholics than other professions. The bar might be the only place to look.

You assume two things
1) That their current distribution contracts don't include such provisions.
2) That Valve's employees won't go ahead and release the DRM stripping software anyway.
Why can't harm or injury include mental or emotional harms? Not to mention that the 2nd law would prevent this from happening. No really means No to a robot.
I don't think they've said. All this announcement says is that there won't be anything else with PalmOS on it. That doesn't rule out a new Tungsten or whatever with WebOS on it.
Because it seems that Win7 might actually be a decent OS and there has to be something to harp on. What? You expect people to admit that Microsoft is fixing something they screwed up?

Set them as a foe, then set foes to -6. I think you can still do this.
And how the hell can lack of an app store be a pro??
A) There is an app store. Multiple ones actually, but there is an official one from RIM.
B) To my knowledge, there is no approval procedure for the RIM store. So there are no limits on what gets distributed. I would call that a pro.
Irish and American Whiskeys are spelled with the "e". Canadian and Scottish Whiskys are not.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person that did that. I remember thinking "This Anonymous Coward guy sure posts a lot".
ok, a proxy server in Norway. Either way, all the stuff you view in Opera Mini goes through their servers as well as RIM's.

At least its not Managed Application Namespace for Game Object Obfuscation, or the ever popular MANGOO.

No, no I have not. I saw that really bad movie with Will Smith though. I really should catch up on my classic Sci-Fi.

The MBP power adapter is auto adjusting, but the power plug in planes doesn't use the MBP's brick, it plugs in straight. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB441Z/A?mco=MzE2OTkyOQ

Simpsons reference actually.

Paramount owns Trek and they are owned by the same people that own CBS I believe.
