Imagine working at a high school with multiple labs of 30 iMac DVs. Hearing them all "sing" in unison when the lab's empty and quiet borders on maddening.
Hey, it'll at least be enough to power all the equipment necessary for the monitoring, administration and other electrical needs for its maintenance...
Because most people know by now that on the Internet, "Unlimited = Hidden Arbitrary Limit". I've been kicked from quite a few "UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH" server hosts. Drawing a definite line in the sand so far away from what any (legitimate) user would use is a great marketing tactic...and keeps evil people from causing too much damage.
Copland never went "beta". It never even went Dev Release. It was cancelled almost immediately before the Dev Release was scheduled.
Gershwin was nothing more than the successor of Copland. When Copland died, Gershwin died.
This isn't in any way a definitive collection of Apple systems, let alone an accurate one.
This move by MacSoft (although I'm sure is making them bust their asses) to bring out the Mac version ASAP is so very respectable in my opinion.
I don't buy many games, but this is one where I can't wait to throw my money at its creators.
Too bad MacSoft isn't taking direct preorders:(
You can make your own jetpack, get some jetfuel, plus you don't need to pay tolls. You can even devise a method for thrust using hydrogen fuel cells for that treehugging feel.

What I don't understand is how do you make a class action lawsuit out of any issue where the company it's self already has something in place for consumers that have battery issue problems.
Apple ran into the same problem with their 1st gen slot-load iMacs that had "choppy DVD playback". It was fixed in software within a few months, but still, a class-action lawsuit over a year later was filed. I guess providing a fix to the consumers isn't in the best interests of the lawyers.
Quicktime has a problem with some screens and the "Present Movie" full screen option, like it's not HW accelerated.
If using Present Movie and you select "current size", whatever it is, it'll play beautifully.
I can get Moby's two CDs, both with 18 pretty large tracks, for $9.99 each. And it comes with cover art. Apple prices full CDs at $9.99. You don't have to buy a-la-carte if you don't want to.
Isn't mod_gzip already used with popular search engines? It's nice that MIT has the processing power and bandwidth to receive data from search engines, uncompress them, REcompress them, and send back to the "queryer". Sounds like more overhead and more trouble that what's already in place that does the same damn thing!...Am I missing something?
One detail that nobody seems to have seen is the hideously huge pricedrop on some older G4 towers.
1.25GHz Tower: $1,299
Dual 1.25GHz Tower: $1,599

I can't wait until Joe Sixpack gets a HDTV (when they get cheaper) and finds out that all his "full-frame" DVDs have those "damned black bars" on the sides...

Why don't we encase our children in 'Nerf'? After all, then they would just bounce off of cars when they run out in the street.
...Lord knows that's what I'd do...
Because that would ENCOURAGE kids to run out into the street so they could be hit by cars.

Yes, it'll be the same $129 as always.

By that logic, Fox should run The Simpsons nearly commercial-free.
iTMS doesn't offer any exclusive content--

In Panther's Universal Access preference pane, there's an "Enhance Contrast" feature.
You might even GET an extended version while watching it...

The Darwine guys changed every instance of Bochs on their site to QEMU after the article was submitted.
The Darwine guys changed to QEMU a day after the article was submitted without any mention on their site.
Why does anybody bother with cars?

Tell that to Gateway.

As little as $229 for a refurbished 10GB iPod.
I don't know about you, but I regularly get my consumer technology products by hijacking Best Buy trucks.

DVD+R is better because it's got a Plus sign!
You can't even record on DVD-R because it's a minus!
