How can it be? "centre" would be pronounced like "sentry", or perhaps "sen-treh" center would be pronounced "Sen-tur". the middle of something is the sen-tur, not the sentry.
I wouldn't say people are flipping out at all. This isn't exactly far-fetched, after all. If the people at blackwaterusa.com can come up with the idea, people with less altruistic reasons for doing it can come up with the idea as well. And since you have to press a button to activate the GPS on the coke can to win the prize, people would be more likely to press the detonator on an improvised bomb.
Why does education need to be a science? Every person learns differently. Techniques used to educate one person will NOT neccesarily work on another. Education is far from being an exact science.
The students are paying a great deal of money to attend the class. The teacher shouldn't have the right to set the terms under which the student attends that class
