London Underground - ALL suspended until further notice (not likely to be today)
It is advised NOT to travel into London
Marylebone, Cannon Street, Liverpool Street, Kings Cross, St Pancras, Euston, Victoria, Paddington, and Charing Cross are all closed until further notice
Thameslink Rail services are not running AT ALL.
Brighton and East Croydon stations are closed due to a security alert.
According to National Rail Enquiries, Southern trains services are running "normal" services OUT OF LONDON only.
Gatwick Express is still running but terminating at Clapham Junction.
Heathrow Express has been terminated until further notice.
It seems trains are running as far as Clapham Junction.
Stations are being periodically closed and re-opened after they have been security checked so do call National Rail enquiries to check your journey first.
Trains are of course going to be delayed by varying amounts as a result.
Checking your journey by calling national rail enquiries is of course recommended - 08457 484950 option 2

1.25ghz, yes.
And to the other poster about the tracking page, yes it's annoying. I've rang Apple Europe a lot over the last few days and keep getting the same girl - it's like "Hello again Mr. Gibbs.":)
I know this will probably end up off topic, but everyone will be reading this Apple thread and not the others.
My Mac Mini was due to be shipped last Friday - 28/1/5 - and the status is still "open". The Irish girls on the phone say they've requested Manufacturing to explain why it hasn't been dispatched/built (for it was BTO) but don't know anything else; which is fair enough.
Am I the only one who ordered a BTO Mac Mini as soon as Jobs' keynote speech was done (*after the Apple web store came back up) who hasn't recieved it yet? Anyone else with similar experiances?
I'm expecting to get my first Mac (a Mac Mini) delivered this Friday or thereabouts.
Bearing in mind these updates, how would I go about updating them once i've turned on my Mac Mini? If it's obvious - and there's a software update tool, similar to up2date on linux, or apt-get update/upgrade - please don't trouble yourselves and just say "it is obvious, you'll see it, no problems".
It works with linux out of the box (although, as of course you'd do with a Windows game, you'd want to patch it to the latest version after you've installed it).
There's a.sh script on the last CD/on the dvd that you run which should launch the installer, IIRC.
FYI, the "install" is a Live CD, so you can boot straight into it, saving the emulation layer of VMware (I'm not dissing VMware; that's been very useful for emulating various operating systems from other operating systems in my experiance).
Voyager is set during TNG and DS9, so its prequel has already, in a way, been done.
DS9's prequel is arguably part of untouched TNG history so there wouldn't be much of a story to tell (except perhaps another war with the Cardissians and the Marquis).
As posters have suggested, it could be Starfleet Academy for one or more of the characters from other series - remember, Picard's academy days were often referred to in TNG.
I think that the prequel to TNG is most likely, the little known Enterprise C. From this site:
The fourth starship Enterprise was under the command of Captain Rachel Garret when it was destroyed by a Romulan fleet in 2344. The Enterprise-C responded to a distress call from a Klingon outpost on Narendra III that was being attacked by Romulans. The Enterprise was presumed destroyed and surviving crew taken prisoner. The Klingon Empire viewed these events as an act of honor by Starfleet which led to an increased peace with the United Federation of Planets.
No. I commute every week day and am lucky to get one of my ten trains on time. The average delay is 10 minutes, but those up to half an hour aren't uncommon.
But i'm in South (Connex South Central, or whoever runs it now). Perhaps it is a different case for other (Northern) train operators/passengers.

Perhaps when these cards come out, i'll finally be able to afford a 9800XT (or similar Nvidia card - i'm an ATi guy).
Although Sourceforge have pulled the .tar.gz mirror, you can still login into the CVS and get it:
