I don't know about you, but I think that the $199 I paid for my phone WITH a contract is still pretty ridiculous. There should be no way that phones cost that much money...its a cell phone...not a PS3.
You KNOW we are getting bad when not only do we have 8 year old kids schooling us on Xbox Live, but when there are 8 year olds TEACHING adults how to play halo for $25/hr (article link escapes me though..fairly recent)
It doesnt necessarily. On the concentrator itself, you can setup split-tunneling, in which case you can set what ip subnets you want to be routed over the vpn, and what you want routed on your own connection.
Here at my company (Cisco VPN Concentrator 3005) we have our a.b.c.* stuff routed over our vpn, while your internet traffic goes over your own connection...no need to kill the vpn pipe with your web browsing.
The other thing with the cisco client, is that it adds itself as a virtual NIC...so basically, it will give you new dns servers, but only for that interface...so your own DNS servers that you set, will still work.
Any questions about these devices, feel free to ask...we have 3 of them here, and I been playing with them for a while.
Ok while there are a lot of cool tech gadgets and perks to living on campus at school...
Im not sure how it is at your schools, but the school I go to, just put me in the 173rd position on the waiting list for housing. (Yes, school starts in 2 weeks and I have no place to live there).
So it looks like Ill be enjoying my wireless connection while chilling in my cardboard box behind the student union.
But also not everyone can just walk into a library and do anything they want.
Libraries usually restrict/censor the hell out of their connections, and you need a library card (which requires a certain level of literacy) to even get in.
But you also figure, with the majority of people being censored are those on the internet already...since thats the premise of internet censorship: to censor what those with access have already put on there.
Its a tough subject, with ultimately no solution.
While in theory this is a good idea. To return a game that has copy protection on it that will install/change things on our system.
Unfortunately, MOST video game stores (at least around here) will NOT accept returns on opened games. They will only do an exchange for the same exact product. They MIGHT accept it back as a used game, in which you lose money anyway.
What the game companies also dont realize is...that the piracy groups that release these games....well they have ALREADY gotten around the copy protection. So the legitimate game installs the copy protection...yet the pirated game does not. (makes a lot of sense, doesnt it.....)

Except that Exxon has been posting record profits and not record revenues.

ie:
iTunes
iMac
iChat
iPhoto
iPod
iSuckAtMakingPosts

And when I did a search for "windows" it came back with no results.
Will I HAVE to do a search for money grubbing monopoly to find info on their own products?
See if it is on here http://www.bugmenot.com/ Might have the necessary info.
