Germany - you have to own one, but not carry it on you. Technically you need to report a change of address within 2 weeks and get the address on the card changed. (just a sticker - no charge). I managed to live for almost 20 years without bothering to report my changes of address though the official one was still fine if anybody wanted to contact me. Mainly I did this so I could vote in the community I grew up in, instead of where I currently lived. The state didn't bother smoking me out until a disgruntled in-law reported me. Got off with a small administrative fine due to a) being broke b) official on the case didn't like the squealer either c) having always had at least a valid contact address.

You have to carry the licence when driving but forgetting it is just a small fine and you need to present it at the station within the next few days. Driving without one is very costly.

The ID cards are issued by the municipality, so the country government has no direct access to the data so far. They have tried to make a central DB of all registration data two years or so ago and have met with loud resistance from concerned terrorists^w citizens.

The cards are well accepted by citizens as a form of photo id but are very rarely demanded for anything. The last time I absolutely had to present mine was to change my car registration. The last time I voluntarily showed it was when donating blood as my donors card still has no photo.

Actually - we have no 'papers, please' as every official who has the right to demand such things needs to specify exactly what he wants. Usually: licence and vehicle registration, please. Happens about once every 5 years and I do drive a lot.

If you ate the stuff and your body tried to vomit it out but couldn't due to your being too far out cold, you might even have died suffocating on your own vomit.

As for alcohol poisoning - I doubt it's harder to inflict than grass poisoning or more likely to kill. If you OD, you screwed up, whatever the poison in question is.

Word of advice - decide beforehand on your limit, monitor your own intake and know that if you loose count, it's time to call it a day. If you have to experiment, get a sober minder to stay with you.

Apart from that - flu is one ugly disease to have. It just doesn't put you down flat with 40 fever but the other infections that sneak in while your immune system is overwhelmed will give you trouble for weeks. Also, they are mandatory to own, not to carry. If I get stopped by traffic police, they ask for my driving licence and work with that, not my ID card.

We all do this now and then with stupid (l)users but most of us draw the line at causing actual damage. As to inflicting emotional stress of the victim, the prankster's mercy usual correlates directly with the character of the victim. If he/she is an asshole they may be required to take a lot more than someone perceived as nice or harmless. Going for total strangers is very low, though. Where's the challenge in that?

It's still not realistic. The murder victim does not exist prior to the game, the corpse will not exist after the game. The victim will exist again at the beginning of the next game. No consequences extent past the actual game.

It's nothing but playing cowboys and indians. Someone calls: Next round and all the corpses rise again and switch places. Any kid can understand that.

A rather more interesting variety: Let's say you could make your friend believe he was in a simulation and get him to kill someone for you. Be careful and you can commit a nice murder by proxy. The idea is not new, try reading Curtains, by Agatha Christie.
