    Personally, I think Aint This The Life would work perfectly with the guitar hero gameplay, too (though that one is just before the 80s I suppose.)

    FWIW, Ain't This the Life and Only a Lad were both first released on the same E.P., in 1980.

    At a former job, we had a customer screaming at us that their new computer's keyboard didn't work (after having had it at the shop for another issue).

    Turns out they plugged the PS/2 keyboard cable into a BNC/10base2 connector on the NIC. Fit perfectly :p

    Why are you running 2 routers? Isn't that just compounding the problem?

    Use Kismet or NetStumbler, and find a channel with no strong signals nearby, and use that one.

    Try different antenna orientatations.
    Put a metal reflector behind the AP if it's in a corner of the house.

    ISTM that the kind of application needed would be a (customized) crawler / search engine.

    There are lots of articles online about writing crawlers and search engines using "off-the-shelf" components such as stuff found on Perl CPAN.

    Once you have a basic crawler working (should be easy), have it look for regex patterns matching SSN's, CC #'s, ..., and then log or save the offending URL's/pages.

    I wouldn't be too sure... the ISP that hosts Network Solutions web sites had some serious outages a few weeks ago... I don't think the reason was announced, but they did _claim_ it wasn't a DDOS.

    I've been having the same problem with a program that emails customers (non-bulk).
    I suspected that they were doing something like that...

    Have you tried SPF?

    If that doesn't work, I suppose masquerade-as on the relay server might work.

    At my grade school there was one computer with an adventure-text game called something like "Go West" that everyone got to play once a week with a partner.

    Sorry... for some reason I remembered that 720p was superior to, AND more expensive than, 1080i.
    I guess I must be thinking of ED, but something still doesn't seem right to me (wrt my memory).

    ummm...
    1080i != 1920x1080
    1080p == 1920x1080

    BIG difference.

    1080i is roughly equal to 540p and, therefore, 720p is far superior to 1080i.

    Which is why most "HD ready" displays don't even do 720p

    Names are only retired if there was a particularly nasty storm with landfall.

    e.g. Katrina & Wilma will probably be retired, but most other names used this year will be recycled (in six years, iirc).

    Most head units with a CD-Changer control capability can take an RCA-in with a $15-25 adapter.

    Crutchfield has some, as do most stereo shops.

    Speaking of Access, 97 was the last version that could export to FoxPro format.
    Which is extremely stupid as MS still makes FoxPro, and came out with a new version in the last couple of years.
