Somehow I doubt their claim that piracy effects the price of video games - im sure they would keep charging whatever they can get away with either way. Conversely though I think if they reduced the price of games it would reduce piracy too.
Im guessing its so that if a plague or something wipes out humanity then if there are any aliens that it might be for them so that they knew that sentient like once existed on earth
I have a Belkin - and after many revisions of the firmware its still got a lot of bugs. They often fix something and break something else. Belkin should not be singled out for this though, I have also seen huge amounts of problems with firmware from Netgear and others. So far the only really solid device I have seen has been a Dynalink - which is supposedly a fairly cheap brand.
I havent used Billion for over 5 years but it might be ok. I remember when I bought one of their devices when adsl was new in Australia because it was the only one that had a few features I wanted in the one device. It lasted about 2-3yrs which was fine. In that time Billion went from being a completely unknown brand to a fairly well recognised one partly due to the poor performance and firmware of brands like Belkin and Netgear.
No boot camp is much tougher than that, well in my country at least. When I went through it we had a guy who was a prison guard, he lasted about 2 or 3 days before he dropped out/disappeared claiming it was much tougher than what his prisoners go through.
Not true - for the first time a month ago I had to use the paypal insurance. It did take a bit over a month and the amount was quite small but they did reimburse me.
Please let me know when this book is available as I think most of my family needs this. E.g. my father has been using computers about as long as i have but still has problems with the whole copy/paste process.
Good luck
Geoff.
well that sucks then but if you can get bigpond adsl you can normally get anyone who resells it. Also if you cant get adsl there might be hope for you in the future as ADSL2+ has a longer range.

Have you taken Moore's Law into account when working out how long it will take to crack?
