! That's EXACTLY what I've been after for the workshop. Save me having to install drivers for machines that we build all the time. This is gonna be a proper time saver!:D
But idle machines will still use power. Then the new cluster they have to build to do the job uses power. All the extra machines took power to build and used various nasty chemicals. All this will contribute to damaging the environment in some way. I'd rather just use the facilities I already have.
Since when did it become law for everyone to release every distro they make? I don't think this is going to be as much of a problem as you make out. The newbie linux user is more likely to end up with one of the 'safe' distros anyway.
I'd think that a planes electronics and cabling is shielded considerably better than any electronics you can find in your house. You're comparing apples and oranges.
It will only block pop-ups that are initiated by a website. It sounds like you've got a computer full of spyware/adware. Stop installing things like kazaa and get yourself some decent cleaning software. I personally recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy.
Amen to that.
It's not THAT PC World...
Do you have a certain amount of swear words you have to use up before the day ends?
Can I go back to playing WoW now?
Sure, knock yourself out.
And the chances of that actually happening? In the real world I mean.
Fair point well made. Not really the norm though is it? :)
No, you're dumb. Yes, they could have had the source for free but without the licensing deal they couldn't have made any money out of it.
Shut it, hippy. ;)

You're ranting at the wrong person, numbnuts.
Or even better, set the computer up outside! Best of both worlds. ;)
But if you never need a GPS, why would you need this?

I don't think it's the actual site that's down, it seems to be whoever is serving up the ads that's struggling.
Good game then?
I think it was further expanding on your joke.

What, you mean I might have to ROLL IT BACK!?!?!
Hardly a major problem.
At the very worst you might have to hang up on them...
