Urrrrm. Make your mind up. Was it the processor or was it SP2? I've installed SP2 on a LOT of laptops and desktop machines and NEVER had a single problem. I run a pretty busy PC shop and every customers machine that comes in gets SP2 and a full Windowsupdate whether they ask for it or not.
Very few, but it's not hard to convince the parents that getting their console chipped is a good idea. They get to save a shedload of money on the games cos the kids just download/share/copy them.
Then the parents are taken out of the loop when selecting games.
Granted we are talking about Texas:-) but I have to wonder what historically significant neighborhoods will be bulldozed to make this interstate happen.
Cos when the next super MP3alike comes along, he'll have to rip all the tracks again to get the best quality. If he rips them all to a lossless format once, then converts to mp3 now, he can always return to the lossless format and covert them to the new super MP3alike format. Geddit?
I will NOT be purchasing HL2 SOLELY because of the fact that they require product activation for singleplayer.
Your loss. Sometimes people let principles get in the way FAR too much. The rest of us will just activate and enjoy while you lose sleep over greedy games companies and product activation.

Likewise, did I need to make this post? Probably not.
Welcome To Slashdot.
Perhaps you want to get your eyes tested then?
I'm looking forwards to seeing if they can advance PC gaming control to something better than mouse/keyboard. Aren't you?
No, the keyboard and mouse are a fantastic combination for first person gaming and for anything else I can just slap in a joypad/steering wheel/etc.

Fuck'em. Get them 'dozers movin!
Nope, couldn't find it anywhere!
Bad day at work. Wireless networks have a way of making me do things like that. ;P
Did you also enjoy eating wax crayons and dribbling lots??? It's LEGO not LEGOS. Even the URL you linked to says lego.
Neat, where do I pick up a free Xbox from then?
Shut up. Ask /. would be a VERY boring place if people like you had your way. If you don't like it then please, for those of us that do, fuck off.
Thanks for listening.
Surely you understand what a demo is? They've been around since at least Quake 1 days, if not longer!
Oh, and you don't HAVE to buy the game before determining if your machine can play it. That's what recommended specs are for.

Ok so they were there all that time ago, but when did they leave and where did they go? ;)
You sure he wasn't accidently playing Half Life : Source?
Yes, yes it does. The only version that doesn't require activation is the Corporate edition and you shouldn't be running that really... ;)

Really, I can't help but laugh.
Treat yourself to a brand new one straight from http://www.rubikshop.com/!
It's a copy of the article numbnuts.
It was fixed in version 5. A nice thing about v5 is the way you can make it look exactly like v2! :D
An even quicker way is to hold down CTRL and mousewheel up then down. Or down then up! :D
Haha. Pretty lame troll attempt. Can't even get hosting without a bandwidth limit.
Muppet.
But WHAT games are you gonna play on it? Not as many as me and my PC.
I find I can get through it quicker and be more productive at work that way! :D
HA-HA! ;P
