I feel the same way about your cologne and perfume. Why should I have to breathe those noxious chemicals because you like their fragrance? Some of you don't know how far your smell goes. I can smell some of you from a block away.
I have one of those combination bird feeder/cat feeder things. It looks like an ordinary bird feeder, but it hangs just a couple of inches off the ground. The cats love it!
I call bullshit on your heart disease post. My grandmother ate bacon all her life, and for most of her life she cooked with LARD. Yes, lard, that fat from hogs. Nearly everything tastes better when cooked with real fat - biscuits, fried chicken, cakes, etc.. Note that my grandmother lived to within months of her 90th birthday. How long is your skinny ass going to live?
It's lifestyle, not diet. She led a life filled with physical work, rarely ever saw a doctor, and was taking no prescription medicines. Hell, she worked outside doing yardwork the day before she died. Her mind was still as sharp as a tack. What's your excuse?
I am 64, soon to be 65. My blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar are all normal. I eat bacon and a lot of other "unhealthful" food, but I also lead a lifestyle that involves a LOT of physical activity.
If you socialize only with people who are very intelligent, you miss a large part of life. That shows a lack of wisdom, a quality that should be prized above intelligence.
I think you mean a front-loading washing machine. They do use less water and you HAVE to use a low-sudsing detergent. They are harder to maintain and a bitch to repair.
We will eventually arrive at a point where nobody will even look at another person, much less try to communicate with them. I think we'll call it "the end of civilization".
I'm old and I hope I'm dead before we reach that point, but y'all have fun with it!
You really need to check prices before you reorder from Amazon. Even ordering the same item, the seller could be different and the price could be way more than your first order. Surprise! Same goes for "Subscribe and Save" orders - sometimes the price goes way UP.
I'm not rich enough to ignore the price I pay for something. On something like shampoo the price can vary by a dollar or more for the same brand and bottle size.
It seems all the companies want to be the first to market a self-driving car, that's a given, but why rush into something that has to be done right or not at all? We don't need the first ones on the road causing all kinds of accidents and problems. Nothing will kill the interest in self-driving cars faster than an unreliable and dangerous vehicle that was rushed to market.
It does make me wonder how the judge would have ruled if the website had been an anti-Obama website a couple of years ago. I bet the ruling would have been 180 degrees from this ruling.
It may not be "official" law, but they damned sure ask the questions. Not every doctor, but at least two I've seen in the past few years asked the questions. I simply refused to answer and quickly found other doctors. It's none of their business if it's not related to the reason for the office visit.
And you really, seriously need to find another source for your "fact checking". Snopes is as biased as they come.
There is a new American administration and there are new plans. Obama's plans were probably just kicking the can down the road, like every President since the 1950s.
Plus, even if they did happen to steal legitimate plans, who is to say that they were "allowed" to steal them? We can read the "Art of War", too.:)
People have been misleading other people since people have existed. Newspapers, radio, magazines, television have all mislead people (sometimes intentionally). And let's not even start with politicians and their lies. It's all free speech, even if a lot of it is bullshit or offensive. Just grow up already!!!!
I gotta leave my computer now and order something I just saw on television - one of those "As Seen On TV" thingies. I bet it works just as advertised!!
One nice thing about Mondays is that Friday the thirteenth never happens on a Monday. But look out for one at the end of THIS week!
At my age (64) Thursdays and Fridays are the worst days. I'm worn out by then and it takes me the whole weekend to recover. On Mondays I'm fresh and recharged again . . . . at least until midweek.
The University of Missouri has had a 35% decline in enrollment since the riots a couple of years ago. It's so bad at Missouri that they're renting out dorm rooms to football fans.
Others may follow if they aren't careful. Riots are happening on college campuses more and more frequently.
Maybe he just didn't like country music. Maybe he loved country music but didn't like what it has become. Maybe he was so deep in debt because of his gambling that he just snapped. We really don't have a clue yet.
Everybody is closer to becoming insane than they realize. All it takes is something or somebody flipping the switch. We're all capable of doing horrendous things.
There will be plenty of time later to throw political bombs. Save it until then.

My mom is 82. She doesn't have a computer or internet service and doesn't use Facebook. How old is your mom?

You're right! My local planets and moons aren't the same as yours, Earthling.
Thugs never practice shooting, so yeah, if you just stand still and shoot back at them, chances are they'll miss you and you'll hit them.
I've never seen a thug at the range.
It takes a real man just to pick one up!
:)
Note: I typed that so fast, on a real keyboard, that slashdot objected and told me I was too fast.
You have proof of that? All of the investigations so far can't come up with any. But keep trying. You're at least amusing.

My number one question is, what's the rush?

Finally, technology that is doing something useful!
It's not a problem until it happens to you or someone close to you.
And I guarantee it will sooner or later.

Is money speech? SCOTUS seems to think it is and I somewhat agree with them.
I just tried to put my 400mm lens on my phone and it doesn't work.
I'll let you take photographs of my photographs with your toy phone camera.
Yeah, you'd think they'd all be wanting to get the hell out of MO, not traveling within the state.
That is a joke; get over it.
