I agree 100%. I don't care one way or the other about Kim Dotcom, but we have to do something about these insane civil forfeiture laws. Way too many people are having their possessions stolen by law enforcement, with little recourse to get them back.

There is no good reason they couldn't do it in one day. I suspect they're trying to get some good publicity from people who don't know any better. Your typical American, who doesn't pay attention to details, will be impressed by this move, all the while letting their credit be vulnerable.

All of the credit reporting companies should offer free credit locking and unlocking, and there was never any reason, other than greed, that they should have been charging for it.

That list of rights has one glaring error.

I prefer a government that was formed to PROTECT the rights ennumerated in its constitution, and those rights are extremely hard to take away. You know, like the United States Constitution.

As far as the USPS, yes, they're good at delivering the mail, but a large portion (and growing) of their business is package delivery (because of Amazon), and they really suck at it.

  14. I'll probably get modded down for this, but I don't give a shit. You "know-it-all" kids should know this.

People paying taxes for fire departments, police, social workers, courts, infrastructure, etc., is not socialism. That's just how governments are supposed to work. It's taxing everybody to benefit everybody.

Why should I pay for anything for somebody who sits on their ass all day doing nothing while I'm working mine off paying taxes?

Until you make every able-bodied person work and pay into the system, your ideas will never work. Of course, once every able-bodied person is working, we no longer need your ideas.
