Was that I constantly felt like I had to log on
-I needed to get on to check my factory
-I have to go one and check to see which of my items were sold
-Have I collected my resources from my farms?
Then a shared multi-guild base was razed by a bunch of 12 year olds when no one else was on. I ended up quitting since it was affecting my relationship with my wife. Then right after I had quit, the game, the weight of the world felt like it was gone.
Some time people have to go with the age old advice: If you can't beat them join them. My story isn't exaclty like that. But my wife grew up in a household where to this day there is an old NES sitting in the corner of the house(which I have been begging for so I can either repair it or mod it). And thats as far as gaming will get in that house. However after getting married I introduced my wife to a lovely SNES game call "Harvest Moon" this game was so simple to play and allowed her to get started. Eventually we started playing starcraft then Diablo 2. Now I am trying to get her to play City of Heros with me. For us there was two main reasons why she started playing games: 1. She loved me and wanted to spend time with me. 2. I was willing to teach her. Since then things go great. She doesn't play games as much as I do. But we can if we whenever we want to. And I don't have to worry about her complaning about how its not fair since she doesn't know how to play.
---Althought I have never be able to live down the time I had Mind Controlled most of her battle crusiers,in a last ditch effort to save myself in starcraft. Boy was the couch comfortable that night!
I really see a second screen becoming a gimmic for most of the good games that will come out. I don't dought that there will be a few games that will make you say "HOLY CRAP THATS COOL" "WOOT" and all that good stuff. But I see a double screen just becoming a way for dev. to place a map or a information panel.
Currently I see this as a huge problem for pda user's. Ialready feel like even something the size of a dime is way to big. I guess I can only hope that the adwill not work on pocket pc. Like popups don't work now on the pocket pc.
I am suprised that both of these didn't get modded any worse as flame bait. But heck the irony may be that I am flaimbait. Interesting enough both are A.C. As for the parent We beleave they are Jews. And if you knew more about what we belave you would understand that there are multipule groups of people that populated this land no just one set. As for the other post that practice did not start till quite a while after the church started. And not all of his relationship were even remotely sexual.
But I would think it would be interesting to show just some of these battles that occured in the Book of Mormon. I mean come on who wouldn't like to see some guys scalp choped of his head and then his whole army is beat into submission.
I would personally have to say RTS games. My wife has loved Starcraft, Emperor, and some games on SNES. I have found that sometimes that you just need a good multiplayer game to play along side her. Me and my wife have had alot of great time with starcraft... except for that time that I "showed" her how a nuke works. Never will that happend again. To say the least I was the one nuked that night.
this is a sick sick joke..... In fact I would like to share what my wife did to me after telling her about the story and then a few minutes later I showed here that it was a april fools joke.......well i am still waiting for her to talk to me....
j/k- she gave me a dirty look and then pinched me.....which is my feelings about this joke.... but it was good.
During a PCWORLD article I read up on the difference between SATA and the PATA. While Serial was able to do better on searching and moving a bunch of smaller files. Parallel was still able to beat Serial in opening a single 1.7 gig file. And the difference in some cases was only by a few seconds. This, to me, doesn't want to make me change anytime soon. I don't see this coming into play for a few more years when they are able to make the transfer's faster for big files or they just decide to change it anyway and leave us in the dust..... Like dell and how they are getting rid of A drives.
a fire, flood, power surge, etc. could still wipe out your local data center. Instead, you should give your files to peers
Well this sound like how insurance got started. A bunch a businesses decided to divide there stuff onto diffrent ships just in case of fire, a storm, or othere disaters. So if this idea goes on do you think that there will end up being a 'Cyber Geico' for all of your back up needs?
I agree with this while I was a fed ex, I had a similar thing happen where someone help us out then a week later sent us a nasty bill. I would send a bill or demand (or make it sound like a demand) for payment for services rendered.

'Looks like a blimp to me...'
Looks like salvation to me.
Any one remember the American Idol deal where a Hawaii girl won a round, and alot of people woundered how she did it?... well I think we know how...
Finally we can have a system that can show the full potential of DOOM 3!!

how do you think you geeks and geniuses came from...
That darn knowledge has to go somewhere.
I figure that I don't lose them.
I just lose them to my wife and blood sucking kids.
